Rick showed me the inside of the washing machine - there was no leak but after filling the tub we heard that the problem was in the drain. This then was a job for a plumber. Rick came the same day I called, he was on time and only charged me for the visit. I am keeping his card and would call him next time I need a repairman.

He was so honest to let me know what was going on, and took the time to explain me the process of the excess of laundry liquid on the performance. I was impress with his nice customer service and respectful personality, and the inmediate answer to my message on his phone. Thanks a million!!!!. That service is almost extint now days.

I was very pleased with Rodriguez Appliances' service. I found Mr. Rodriguez to be remarkably professional, courteous, knowledgeable and honest, attributes that are both valuable and difficult to find these days. His experience includes several years in appliance repairs with a major retailer. My tenant thought the washer was leaking. Mr. Rodriguez expertly, efficiently and thoroughly checked the washer and found there was no leak. He suggested the issue may have been attributed to overloading the washer, which the tenant acknowledged may have been the case when the "leak" had occurred. He did replace some minor plastic parts that were stripped, which were important for the agitator to work properly. I am relieved to have found an excellent appliance repair person that I can rely on for any future issues.

Rick the repairman is very knowledgeable and excellent to deal with. Very responsive and punctual.  I found them to be very honest and just charges for the repair only. They ordered extra parts and found out did not need them. I found refreshing to deal with such company. I have no hesitation to use them for all my future appliance repair needs. Thank you Rick.

As stated earlier very professional, will use again. The price was lower than estimated, wasn't as serious as we thought it would be.

Quick and reasonable

If you don't wish to upgrade your appliances they're able to repair your existing products to the same level of quality they were at when they were new. I can't say enough good things about them. They're very skilled, honest and nice, their prices are fantastic. They are on time, they call you, they call you back, they ask if they can do anything else, they provide old time customer service.

I highly recommend this company for all of your appliance repair needs. Jorge Rodriguez and his staff cannot be more pleasant and professional. I work long hours and he accomodated my schedule without any hesitation. When he came out he explained the problem and immediately gave me an estimate. I had already received another estimate but I chose him because he was so pleasant and professional. I had to cancel twice and it was never a problem. When I was finally able to schedule the repair, they once again came out earlier than their work hours to accomodate my schedule. He fixed my dishwasher and it is working perfertly.

The job was done in a timely and professional manner. I would highly recommend Rodriguez Appliance and will use them in the future.

We were in need of a repair to our washing machine, an older model Whirlpool, so we went searching on Angie's List to locate the best contractor for the job.

On Thursday afternoon of March 22, 2012, we phoned two companies to request service. The first company which we called was answered by Voice Mail, so we left a message regarding our need for repair. Our second call was to Rodriguez Appliance Repair - and our call was promptly answered by Mr. Rodriguez.

We discussed the problem, and our need for a repair as soon as possible.

We also informed Mr. Rodriguez that we had found him through Angie's List.

Mr. Rodriguez was professional, accommodating, knowledgeable, and fully bi-lingual. He discussed and semi - diagnosed what he believed happened to our washer and detailed what the repair would entail. He informed us of the service call charges, and the approximate time required for the appointment. He set our appointment for the repair - as the first job in the morning on Friday, March 23, 2012.

I requested that we receive a call at least 30 minutes before the technician arrived, and he agreed to do so.

Our technician - Rick - phoned the next morning, Friday, at about 8:30 AM, to alert us as to the time of his arrival. Rick promptly pulled into our drive way about 30 minutes later.

He was professional, polite, knowledgeable and helpful. The repair was expertly executed. The coupling needed to be changed, the inside parts of our washer required cleaning. Rick had the correct parts in his truck and it was an overall seamless process.

Rick advised us not to place any rugs that were thicker than our towels into the washers tub in the future.

He also told us that we had a great washer, and that it was superior to the washers being manufactured today, in which the agitator was missing.

Rick cleaned up after himself, pushed our washer back into position, and we were ready to go. Overall - it could not have gone any better.... and the price was great. We paid $ 117.00 with parts ...... and this was less than the large company that we had been using by about 50 %. We were and quot; Happy Campers and quot;.

I was frustrated with Sears not showing up during their 4-hour appointment window to fix my washing machine, after waiting a week to even get an appointment with them. So Yay Angieslist - I found Mr. Rodriguez! I called him 8/10 afternoon and he answered the phone and right then tried to walk me through the problem with my washing machine. Unfortunately a switch was broken. But he had me try things (that were obvious with his expertise, but I was clueless about). Had any of those steps resolved my problem, he wouldn't have even gotten my business. But he knew that and is obviously in this for the long term and so he provides kind and professional service. He agreed to come to my home the very next day. He arrived at the appointed time and changed out the broken switch with a Kenmore switch, not some third party cheap thing. He also gave me some (cost free) advice about my refridgerator. His fees were very fair and I am thrilled to have his phone number for any future problems I may have.

The dryer at my rental house was not working properly. I placed a call to Rodriguez Appliance and I asked Mr. Rodriguez to coordinate an appointment with my tenant which he did in a timely manner. Rick showed up and diagnosed the problem and promptly called me. He explained what the problem was and how much it would cost in parts and labor to repair. I agreed to hire them to make the repairs and he worked with my tenant to schedule the service after getting the necessary parts. Once the repair was made I recieved a call from Rick that the job was completed and an invoice would be mailed to my house. I called my tenant to confirm the repair was made and asked her if she was satisfied with the repairman. She absolutely was and said this is a professional company that is punctual. I inspected the dryer later and it was working great. I recieved the invoice which was legible and described the work in detail. The price was exactly what was quoted to me. The entire experience exceeded my expectation.

My washing machine died yesterday and I contacted Jorge this morning after finding him through Angie's list. He answered the phone and spoke English very well. I told him the knob on the washer (to start a cycle..no water was filling or if you put it on spin was not spinng) is not working. He was on the way to parts store so he took the model # down and told me he would get the price on the timer/cycle which he said used to be cheap like $60 but now they average $120 because manufacturers want you to purchase new machines. He called back in 10 minutes with a price which was $130 plus $60 in labor and tax but the only part available was in CT, or KY so he would not be able to get it until Monday. The other option was to purchase a new washer. He recommended a Crosley washer (made my Whirlpool) which he could install that day or the next. I had never heard of the brand but he took the time and explained how Whirlpool owns Maytage and Kenmore is Whirlpool. Anyway I decided to trust him and I am happy I did. Rick who works for Jorge called about an hr. later saying that he would be able to deliver the washer between 12-1 and he would call when he was 20 minutes away, which he did. When Rick got to my house he was friendly and very knowledgable. He took out the old washer and installed the new one with out any problems.

He was very polite and professional. He was also prompt, came out very quickly to do the work. He did the work quickly, efficiently and he was honest. He showed me how I could repair it myself in the future if it happened again. I will definitely be using this company again in the future.

He was very professional. Very clean and showed up on time. Again, he did not charge me for the service call since he could not find the problem. Wonderful to work with.

Mr. Rodriguez and his two assistants are complete professionals. The problem we had had for 11 years was quickly diagnosed and they knew exactly what the solution was. They had the parts that were needed and did an excellent job.

I think that they did a very good job. They seemed to be very professional and knowledgeable, and they seemed to know what they were doing. I think that their prices are fair. I would use them again in the future. I have no idea how much it cost me.
