I called for an estimate and was given a quote for a flat rate of $200. They scheduled me quickly, called to confirm, and kept me posted when they were in route. The move was smooth and the movers clearly experienced, as evidenced in the care they took moving the piano. Robert Williams Moving made my piano purchase easy and worry free. They arrive ON TIME and did the job in a professional manner. All the men were EXTREMELY polite. They stored my belongings for 2 days and showed up at my new home ON TIME and unloaded the truck putting everything in the exact place I asked them to without hesitation. Definitely a POSITIVE EXPERIENCE!

These guys are not the cheapest option but are total professionals. I had a bit of a hiccup getting things initially scheduled but the head of operations then called me on the weekend, left his personal cellphone and took my return call on the weekend. We got everything arranged, and their crews showed up on time and were terrific in every aspect. I'd definitely use them again. You don't have to worry about waiting around -- they are punctual. You don't have to worry about your stuff -- they are extremely careful and pack things with the utmost care. Perhaps most important, any moving day has surprises and changes and these guys were very flexible and just made it all work.

We recently moved from Florida to NYC, and needed a team to move our belongings from the apartment to the moving van. We were quite impressed with the 3 man team from Robert Williams. The were prompt, courteous, and very efficient. They had a system down pat and completed the job in 90 minutes (we allotted 3 hours). Most importantly, the truck was packed well; everything was in fine condition when we arrived in NY.

Failed to return phone calls until 6th try. Made appointment to give an estimate, but did not keep the appointment. Another person tried to make an estimate over the phone, but we found we could get no information about price, timing of move, etc., until we were ready to select them for the job. We went with another company.

Every time they did excellent work. They were on time, very careful in packaging and moving furniture and other household goods, including antiques. Also unpacked and set up furniture very nicely. Personnel are nice, courteous, knowledgeable, helpful, not in a hurry, and careful with your goods.
