Robert and his son were very responsive and well informed; Robert spent almost an hour explaining what was wrong with the existing countertops and what they would do differently to ensure that the new countertops would last. He was kind enough to waive the $20 fee for estimate.

Robert and Sons was unofficially recommended by a granite company I visited when looking for granite. I visited his shop and noticed that he is licensed by the County and is insured, which is very important to make sure that if anything was damaged or somebody gets hurt I would not have a problem. I observed the project he was currently working on and was impressed by his work I took to him a sketch with the measurements and he gave me a quote including materials. I had already selected the type of granite Gillio Napoleone. However, what I wanted to do required more than one slab with a lot of unused granite. So I then decided to install full splash-backs which of course would cost me more for labor but it was worth it. He called various places and he sent me to a granite place where I selected 2 slabs and they were billed directly to the installer. The price of the granite he obtained was less than the price I obtained from another vendor. Robert asked me for a 50% deposit which I understood as he had paid for the granite. I paid the rest when he finished the job. First, one of his workers came to the house to take the exact measurements. He then came with three of his workers to install the countertops. He then took the exact measure for the full backsplash to ensure the outlets were done correctly. He returned the next day to install the backsplash. He also installed the undermount sink on the hole that fit beautifully on the hole he had cut. Robert the father and owner may have a little problem with english but his sons and workers speak it so there is no problem communicating. The installation was extremely professional and completed when scheduled. Would recommend this vendor with no hesitation.
