He made an appointment for the next day to gather information for his appraisal. He arrived on time, spent over an hour carefully evaluation all areas of my home, and took pictures of every area of my home. I received my appraisal via email about 9 days later (very fast, considering the Christmas holiday fell during this time!). The report was very detailed and included 3 recent sales in my neighborhood for comparison. I can't speak to the accuracy of his appraisal, as we have not listed or sold the house yet. However, I feel confident that he has given us a value that we can feel confident when we price our home for sale.

He was there the following day and did the appraisal with no problems.

Mr. Penagos was extremely punctual, actually called to find out if we would mind him coming in a half hour earlier, which was great for us.  He did take his time, all kind of notations, measurements, excellent pictures of my home that I even asked his permission to use on my listing.  Very conscientious about the comparisons, the fact that my home was much newer than 90% of those in the area and explained the whole process to us.

He had quoted us $350 for a regular appraisal, to be delivered in a week's time.  However, since I was in a rush to receive it, he explained that he charged a "rush" fee of $100.00 and also a 24 hour rush for $150.00.  We decided to pay for the 48 hr. rush, which with the $25 discount from Angie's List, was an extra $75.00 for a total of $425.00.  Probably the best spent money in the process of this sale.

We did NOT inform him as to how much we expected to ask for the property since we our objective was to find out what the real market value of the home was.  Let's hope his figures are as precise as his work.  Thank you very much, Luis!  Keep up your excellent job and best of luck in your business.

I highly recommend Luis.   He came to my home and I received my appraisal within days.   The report is extremely thorough and professional.   He is also a very kind man.   Definitely A+ from me.

Went very well!  Called around as I needed the appraisal rather quickly - only had 10 days for inspection and appraisal.  I spoke with Luis on the phone, and we arranged everything.  In the end, they were able to get the appraisal to me on time, and the appraisal seemed like a fair amount, in the range that I was anticipating.  Was very happy overall.

They were very throughout and they had a very nice report. We didn’t have any issues and we sold the house at what they estimated. They showed up when they said they would and they spent a lot of time there too. They were informative about why the price was what it was.
