Out of The Woods

The house looks pretty good. They were excellent. They were very knowledgeable in terms of what they were doing. They took a lot of time to do things in the sense that they didn't put in the wood until they felt that the house was dry enough. They put the temperature control before they did it. They were very good about the leveling. They thought the leveling was going to take enough time. It took more time. They were doing the job right. They were not in a hurry. They did take longer than expected but they didn't encounter things that they weren't expecting because the floor was super leveled. When I walk in, there are no cracks. I don't hear any screech. Everything is solid. They took the time to do everything well-done. They paid a lot of attention to details. They tried to cheat the lines and make it look straight. They always went for every single issue they encountered. They went the extra step to do it right and not to do it fast. They left things ready so that if they had to come back and cut or do something, they could. After I had everything installed, nine months later they came back and did the finishing touches that needed to be done after the doors had been installed. That was very nice and that was part of the price.

Vicki found repurposed wood flooring to match the old Dade County Pine in our 1922 vintage home. Out of the Woods installed the floor, pulled the permits for Coral Gables, obtained inspections, and did everything beautifully, professionally and on time. They didn't even leave dust from the sanding of the floor! This is the second time they have done work at our home. In 1992, they sanded, repaired and refinished the old Dade County Pine floors in the entire house, and 18 years later they still look great. As repeat customers, I highly recommen Out of the Woods.

The reason that I'm mentioning them is because they did a superb job and that includes their follow-up. They came back to examine a question that we had. There was a part of the floor that we didn't like and it needed to be stained. They did a terrific job with that. They subsequently followed-up on a small damaged are of the flooring of which I was responsible for. I accidently pulled up a little bit of the wood surface. They already examined it and they'll soon do the repair work. I felt like the work couldn't have been done any better. I was real happy with them so I don't mind putting in a little extra effort to tell other people about them. It was a very large project that got a little messy at times. However, the final product was well done. I found them to be very responsive to our needs even after they finished the job.

THEY TOOK OUT THE OLD FLOORING BECAUSE IT WAS WARPED. THEY INSTALLED THE NEW FLOOR AND PUT SOME DECORATIVE WOOD IN. THEY MADE MY FLOOR LOOK BEAUTIFUL.
