The job was a big job and ended up taking twice as long as we were told. We agreed on 3 installments of payment. He was very quick to ask for the money for the next part of the project and would show up immediately to receive the check. However, once he received the money he would not come back for a few days. He was constantly a no-show and would not respond to phone calls. By the end of the job we were just so excited to have it complete that we did not make a big fuss over the fact that we felt the work was rather sloppy. However, not even four months later do we have a break in the seal of the cool deck. Also there is cracks completely outlining where he had to pour concrete on the deck and the patio has sunk in those areas. We have a warranty and he has once again not showing up on four occasions that he would promise to come look at the problems. Now now he has just quit responding once again. We spent a lot of money and put trust in him to do a good job.

The work is to our satisfaction, but Jose, the owner never returned the money that was due us nor did he provide the certificate we were promised for the work. Our phone calls are not returned and the web site is down. It is a shame because I would have recommended him. His lack of professionalism is disturbing. I would never use him again.

They were unresponsive to problems I had afterwards. I was not very happy about it. They were some hairline cracks in the concrete, which I pointed out to him before he ever did it. He said not worry because they grounded those out and filled them with epoxy of some sort that is expandable. They put the surface over it. One of the cracks reappeared and opened up pretty badly. He came back and had his guys grounded it out again but never came back and refilled it. It was a very speculate breakthrough this lab through the topping. One area is highly conspicuous. I had the patio pressure cleaned because we had mildew. It was popping off due to the pressure cleaner. Now, it’s going to be a problem the next time we have to have it pressure cleaned. In this planet, you get a lot of mildew; it’s an issue you have to deal with from time to time. I would too if I’d still be able to do it. That’s disappointing. It did not worked out satisfactorily.

Worst experience I've ever had with a contractor / service provider. By far.
What was supposed to take 2 - 3 weeks, took well over 6 months.
His crew would show up one day, then disappear for 2 weeks. Show up again after repeated phone calls, then disappear. One time I found a razor blade, in the grass next to my kids swing set. I asked the guy working if it was his. He said yes. I asked for him to be careful with things like that. Next week comes along and I find another blade in the grass. I raise the concern a second time. Apparently this was interpreted as me "getting in their way" and me trying to "control where they put there tools"!!! Folks this was a blade from a box knife, lying out in the grass, next to my kids swing set. How in the world would that be a good spot to put your tools down?!!!
The coping covering looks like joke. He charged me extra for it, and it looks terrible. I asked if they could be careful with the holes in the concrete for the pool fence. They seemed to purposely fill those holes with the spray material. I had to drill out each hole in order to put my fence up.
Finally, within a week of finishing the job, a crack appeared in the re-surfacing material, and it started to "flake" off.
I called Jose, he came right over, and with a giant hammer banged the loose, flaking material off the floor. Creating a big patch of bare concrete, on an otherwise decently completed floor.
This was last summer (summer of 2013). To date, Jose has never returned to fix the giant patch he created.
I would have been better off accepting the crack, with the flaking material, and left well enough alone. But I paid him $4500
for roughly 1800 sq. ft. of floor, much higher than the going rate.
I wish I could post pictures of his shoddy work. It was heart-breaking. The money was from my annual bonus at work, and I felt like we completely wasted it.
I am now going to attempt to fix the patch myself. Wish me luck.
If you are considering Jose and his company, please do so with extreme care, and I wouldn't pay a dime upfront. Contact me directly if you want even more details.

They were a disaster. The workmanship is beautiful; however, the job that should take 3 weeks took 8 months and the repairs never got done. The quality of the work looks good to begin with. The men are very good and very personable, but the job that should have taken 3 weeks, took 8 months. Then, they didn’t come back for the little repairs that needed to be done with the job. It was a hassle of calling them everyday for 4 months, and I gave up. They were late for the appointment but the presentation was very professional.
