We could not have asked for better service although I was not surprised. I had checked with the Better Business Bureau which rated them A+, the Florida Division of Consumer services which showed no complaints, and Nobel has an addition accreditation from the FMWA for intrastate moves.
The movers called to advise that they were on their way. They arrived on time and proceeded to pack and load the truck. We had been advised that it probably would take about four hours for them to finish and the task was completed within that time frame. The crew was friendly, professional and eager to assist in things that we had problems packing.
The truck arrived in central Florida the next day, again on time with the foreman (Juan) calling when they were in the vicinity. The price paid at that time was exactly the price quoted. This was the same crew that loaded the truck and they were again so pleasant to work with. They unloaded the truck, placed the furniture in the appropriate rooms, unpacked the items they had packed and even offered suggestions for placement of the furniture when I didn't like the arrangement that I had in mind.
The condition of the household goods upon arrival was great. Two chairs on the patio furniture have a little damage on the webbing but the furniture, crystal, & china survived without any damage.
I had gotten estimates from three movers altogether. The price I paid Nobel was a couple of hundred dollars more than the lowest offer but I selected Nobel because of the lack of complaints and it was a really wise decision.
"Nobel Van Lines greatly welcomes feedback from our customers, especially from our friends in the Angie’s List Community. We are committed to making sure you have the best experience at our place. Satisfaction from our clients is our top priority. We regret that you feel that you did not get the service you deserve from us, and still trying to understand what was the reason for this complaint. The customer first contacted us on January 17th, 2013 asking for an In-home survey to be done on the next day. We accommodate with the request, and after appointment booked a moving date for January 24th for a move going to Chicago, IL. Just after we picked up the goods, the customer stated she would need us to keep her goods in storage because she will not be ready for delivery in Chicago. Just after about 3 month the customer asked to change the delivery location to Key Largo, FL., and we schedule it for April 20th. I believe this is the point where the customer got upset, not understanding how the cost came out about the same as moving to Chicago. We explained that two Local moves plus delivery to a place about 2.5 hours away from us is considered the same. When our movers arrived to the delivery (The same movers from the pick up!!!), the customer was already upset. Our operation manager was speaking with the customer numerous times before, during, and after the move in the most polite and professional manner asking to let us complete the move. The called and emailed the next complaining she is missing small parts of the bed headboard. At the time of the complaint the customer just opened 1/3 of her boxes (that she packed), and we recommended her to open all the boxes, and then call us. Our claims department also emailed her to open a formal complaint. We truly believe that we don’t deserve to get this F Rating from a customer that is emailing us her complaint and specifying the following: “Like I said, I'm sharing this info with you as FYI. The estimator, Eli & yourself have been polite, professional and honorable BUT some of the company representatives that you sent out, to work on my two moves, have not presented themselves in the same way.”"
