Miami Movers For Less

Horrible experience. Please read. Movers took a few breaks and we bought lunch for them. Movers asked for payment at 90% completion. We paid and gave them an extra $100 tip. They asked for bigger tip and we refused. They started insulting us and stopped bringing the boxes to the appropriate rooms. They did not finish assembling the furniture. They were simply disrespectful and left without finishing their job. I contacted customer service, filed a claim but they said that since nothing was damaged, they could not help.

Everyone in this moving company is awesome. Rey, a sales guy was able to get me an nice discount on long term storage. I need it stored for at least 12 month. I just got a job contract in California and had to urgently move out and prepare for the job. This guys took a huge load of my shoulders and now I have one very big thing less to worry about. Thank you and see you in a year!

It was not the worst but certainly not the best. We wouldn’t use them again. To begin, we hired them to pack- at the end they said it would require a fourth guy to make the move which would change our hourly rate from 180-210. We agreed. They showed up an hour and half late on day of the move. Then half way through they said the truck was full- they saw our stuff the day before, why not make arrangements for bigger truck? Who knows. So in the middle of the day they needed to unload at our new house. This meant they were not going to finish in one day. They made second round to load up and asked to be paid. We paid and tipped them each roughly 30 for the day. The head guy was not happy and said we weren’t tipping enough. We explained we would tip them the next day also but that this was just for the one day. So all of our stuff was packed on the truck or in the garage of new place- where were we supposed to sleep. Luckily our daughter’s new bed was delivered so we weren’t left bedless. The next day they showed and left labeled boxes in the wrong rooms. Boxes marked master left in office, office boxes left in kitchens of course my daughter’s stuff is in boxes between three rooms. We have hired movers for three other moves and never had issues like this.

I had the most amazing experience with “Move for Less”. The driver and service personnel arrived on-time. They precisely wrapped all of my furnishings and art paintings. The move was quick and easy. Highly recommended!

Great service. For $1400 we spent to move our pretty expensive pieces of furniture we received the service we expected. Guys acted so professionally so we stopped worrying about the outcome. I'll recommend Move For Less to a friend. Thank you guys!

Everything was very organized - all the rooms were packed neatly and labeled accordingly. No items were damaged.

Moving from Miami to New York with Move For Less was a smooth stress free experience. I would characterize them as intelligent movers that do quick and secure work at the same time.

Move for less we’re extremly professional, truck arrived on time all the packing supplies were top quality and the crew worked very fast. They were very careful with all of my stuff, everything arrived the same way as it was packaged. After the long trip from Miami to SF. The crew even took the time moving my furniture when I decided to reorganize right as they were finishing up.

Worst moving company EVER!  Just used them for July 1 move.  
First, they were late showing up therefore, we didn't make it to our new place on time and they had to keep our stuff overnight.  Second, they didn't wrap things or label boxes after they were packed.  Third, I'm missing a bag of change (over $200).  Fourth, they taped up our wooden furniture, which stripped the finish when I removed the tape.  Finally, one of the movers sexually harassed me (he dropped his pants and put his hand down his boxers and asked, "Maybe you can help me with this.")  Had to call the cops on him.  Moving is stressful enough without having to worry about the moving company.
Oh, and then they tried to make us pay for the a$$hole who was harassing me.  W**?!
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.  THEY ARE THE WORST!!!!!

 I received a quote, asked for a written quote and received it.  I was going to proceed, but decided I had to check a little further.  I  then joined Angie's list and checked the company out on Angie's list. The company had received 2 old F ratings.  Since they were old ratings and an address in Miami, and the current address  was Davie, I called to give the contact person Frank, an opportunity to address possible wrong company etc.  Instead, Frank became angry, raised his voice, and generally was a very angry person.. I suggested that perhaps he should work to please a new customer, if the old ratings were wrong, and that perhaps he was losing a lot of business if the ratings were not correct.   He basically told me he was not a P.R. company and could care less what kind of reviews they had.   Glad I didn't book this company.
