Called on Monday 6/22/2015 to schedule a service call and I was told that the repairman would be home between 10:00 AM and 2:00 PM on 6/24/2015 and that he would call before going to my house. The repairman called at around 12:10 PM but unfortunately I had stepped away from my desk and missed his call. I called the company 10 minutes later and was told that since I had not answered I had lost my place in the list and that they probably would not be able to come to my home before 2:00 PM. They called me back again at 1:30 PM and said that definitely they would not come before 2:00 and probably would not be able to come at all. I decided to cancel the service call and will not use them at all again.

"Mr. [Member name removed] was called on the day of service but failed to answer his phone.He did call back the office but not in 10 min., he was advised that his slot was offered to another customer who was on our wait list.Even though we could not keep Mr. [Member name removed] on our 10:00/2:00 time schedule he was offered same day service. He advised the office it had to be before 2:00 and since we could not do this he cancelled and said he would call someone else. It is unfortunate that as a service company we cannot allow our techs to sit around waiting for a return call not knowing when it would come in."

They claimed I never signed the annual contract and dropped me. (Fact is, I never got it -- and they never bothered to call to say "hey, aren't you going to renew?"). Turns out they were upset that I used another a/c company to clean my coils -- but only because they told me they don't do that. Then I ended up buying a new a/c from this other company -- that's what really "expletive" Modern off. Hey, timing is everything and they weren't there for me. The woman who answers the phones can be a "expletive." I used to recommend them to everyone I know. Now, I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. You can't rely on them in the long run. STAY AWAY!

THIS COMPANY HAS SAVED ME SO MUCH MONEY. THEY OFFER MONEY SAVING ADVICE REGARDING APPLIANCE REPAIR. THEY ARE HONEST AND PROVIDE OLD FASHIONED SERVICE. THEY EVEN VACUUMED UNDERNEATH MY REFRIGERATOR AFTER THE REPAIR!
