Merle Norman Cosmetics Inc

Merle Norman Cosmetics Inc is very good. Holly is the owner and she's fantastic. She can help with cosmetics and then she'll help you make the collection. She'll put the make up on you to see if you like it and I think she has nail people in there and they're cutter but I don't pay any visit to them, I just go because her main thing is the cosmetics but she did have two people that did facials that were very good. She particularly goes places but Holly is the owner and she does an excellent job with the cosmetics like people go to the department store and there's these huge counters and people try to sell you things and you can try to make an appointment, it's probably better than the appointment with her or see when she's in and see how busy she is and it's nice because it's just one on one. It's not like this huge department store with all these different companies trying to sell you makeup and they don't know anything. Their prices are fine because there are different prices but I know it's a little different like in another company, there's one woman that does an excellent job but it's full of garbage there. They charge way too much, way too much for everything and they won't let you put a tip on the credit card so it's a pain in the neck and I've been there like 20 or 30 years and Holly in their first years too. Their service is individual and Holly sells you the make up and you can still try it on to show you how to put the make up on. It's personal attention, it's not like being in a big department store.

.This was my first time going to Merle Norman and I was very pleased with their services. I was able to get an appointment quickly, called on a Thur. and got an appointment for the next day, on a Fri. I was greated warmly by the owner, Holly and made to feel at home. The shop was very clean and had a relaxing atmosphere. I was a few min. early for my appointment so I asked about their cosmetic line because I needed a new mascara and lipstick anyway. Holly was very knowledgeable and had some great makeup tips to share. There was absolutely no pressure to purchase anything. But I truly liked the products and decided to purchase them and found the prices to be reasonable. Now the hairdresser/stylist was ready for me so off I went to her area.
Gemma washed, cut, dried and styled my hair. Gemma is AMAZING !! I am very, very picky about my hair and I was worried about trying someone new, but she did an awesome job and she is now my new go to stylist. She asked and listened closely to what I told her I wanted for my hair cut, then repeated it back to me exactly to make sure she had it correct, then she went to work. She was qucik, fun to chat with and put me at ease. The cut looked amazing and I was very pleased.
I got a manicure/pedicure from Lorena. She was gentle and didn't hurt me, which scores major in my book. She did a lovely job and I was pleased with her service.
Onto Kerry who waxed my eyebrows. I warned her that I have very sensitive skin and she had products just for sensitive skin. She did a lovely job styling my brows and the products she used truly helped my skin to not be as red and puffy as usual when getting my brows waxed.
I was very pleased with Merle Norman Cosmetic Studio and Day Spa and would highly recommend them.

Gemna is a great hair dresser. I have been seeing her for 10 years. It is a wonderful place to go. She is a little expensive, but she does great work. She is the only hair dresser at this store.
