MARCO ALUMINUM

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! I was remodeling my patio and hired a separate company to install a screen wall with a door and an electronic screen wall. Unknown to me, Marco Aluminum was subcontracted out to do the demolition work on my damaged screens and replace them. The work was completed and I paid in full. A week after completion, the owner placed of the company (you can probably guess his name) placed a Lien on my home for nearly $2,000 saying he was owed for the job. Apparently he got into a dispute over the cost of materials with the company that contracted him. Instead of handling it with the other company I hired, he decided to go after me and use my home as a proverbial hostage in his negotiations to get what he wanted from the other company. This was completely legal for him to do (new home owners beware of this). It took me two weeks of negotiating between the two parties to come to a resolution even though I had already paid for the entire job. The entire time this company was dishonest, apathetic and most importantly completely content with hanging me out to dry so long as he received his money from the other contractors. Which, in relation to the total compensation, was pennies to the dollar. You may or may not get good work from this company, but from a customer service stand point or even a person you would want to do business with and trust with your home, I would avoid them at all costs.
