I loved my experience with Mainland Roofing. They were compliant, attentive, and safe as they were taking precaution due to Covid-19. I am very happy with the way my roof looks. The contractor all along had been unresponsive after the work was done to have him handle warranty related issues. We even sent him a certified letter to which there was no response. Then, we had our attorney send a demand letter and still no response.  Finally, after many phone calls and emails, he answered his cell phone and professed no knowledge of our efforts to reach him. We will not use his services again.

They sent out a young kid. He asked about what the other roofers had to say. He was speaking on pulling up tile and simply putting down other tile without replacing the paper underneath. I felt he was not very experienced.

They are excellent.

I am contemplating giving them the roof work. I thought that the estimate they gave me was very reasonable. I have Florida room and it was a patio that is V shaped and was enclosed by the people that had the house before with a roof. The roof is one of those aluminum and plastic contraptions and in fact I stood during hurricane Wilma and watched the hurricane strip the plastic right out the roof and it was frightening. I decided to remove that roof and get a real roof, so I hired an experienced roofer and he came in and put a nice frame for me and it is very sturdy. He is an independent person, but abandoned me in the middle of the job and took off. I then had a friend that came in and was trying to help me out and put some shingles on and did a very bad job of it. I called all these different roofers that were on the list and this particular roofer Jose willing to put the correct type of roof on top. He is also willing to do the sheet rock finishing underneath and put a gutter because we are near a canal and when it rains here every rain is like a tornado. It just comes crashing down on the roof and the water comes sheeting off the end of the roof and he is willing to put a gutter in for me and a lot of little detailing and trim work. He is willing to do all this for $3100 and I think that is extremely reasonable. He got up on the roof and physically measured it and I showed him the under side and told him that I needed to finish the sheet rock because it looks unfinished. He recommended put sheet rock on there and he could do it and that included insulation put in-between the beam by stuffing it between the sheet rock and the plywood where the top of the roof is. I need to call him back to ask him if he can so some other work as well that was damaged by the hurricane. He was very responsive, professional and really knows his roofs.

I live in a condo that has a common roof surface for 4 units including mine. Juan came out and gave myself and my neighbor such a very competitive quote that the remaining unit owners signed on to have our entire roof surface replaced. Juan was professional and timely and almost a year later I have no complaints.

I was extremely happy with the results. The dome was difficult and time consuming. It looks better now then the original. They painted areas on the house where work blemished the walls. They gave me extra tile in case of hurricanes. They offered to replace grass if there were burn circles from the tar heater.

This was a long job, and took extra time because there were so many roofs being replaced in south Florida. But Juan came out, gave us an excellent estimate, and worked with us for several weeks until we could choose tiles that were available. He was then either on scene or readily available through all of the process of removing the existing tiles, laying all the underlayment, replacing some rotted wood, and installing the new tiles.
