 + -1 moreI've bought from them many times: all four of our current bikes came from their store. Their staff is uniformly friendly, knowledgeable, and they have good variety at reasonable prices. Happy to have them as one of my favorite bike shops around town... there is nothing like the expertise of a local store for a sport like cycling. I've placed $2000 in "cost of service" for this review as that's the rough value of our four bikes (not including helmets, accessories, or anything else) although that value was spread over several purchases.

 + -1 moreThe bike shop is big with everything you need. People are very knowledgeable. Do not expect to find the best price at this bike shop, but the inventory is huge. I had 2 bad experiences with this bike shop: the cashier is not very nice (not even a smile) even though you come to spend some money in their shop. Also there is a huge lack of follow up for the customer service especially for repairs and warranty. They promised to call me to give me an estimate for the repairs, they never did. They hang up on me when I called them to find out. The job was supposed to be done in 24hrs, but it took them around a week for a very small job. On top of that they did the job without my approval.
Description of Work: Bought a brand new mountain bike there Had my bike serviced there for 2 bent rims and a tune up.

Description of Work: We were looking for a good beginner triathlon bike. The sales staff are very knowledgable and were able to help us select the right bike. They set it up and made sure it was sized with the correct geometry.

 + -1 moreMy bike had been left outside by family when I wasn't looking, tossed around a bit and left to the elements. Felt a bit wobbly when I rode it to work one day. Took it in and was given bad news of warped wheel and additional needed work. They did it as quickly as possible and replaced everything with first-rate components.
Description of Work: I've been going to Mack Cycle and Fitness to maintain my Cannondale for years. This last time, my bike need a complete tune-up, tire/wheel replacement caused by abuse/misuse, and new chain. Their repair work was done quickly though priced a bit on the high side. However, you get what you pay for; and with them, I know my bike is in A1 condition and that they did not cut any corners. I've bought shoes, clothes, helmets and other stuff from them. Sale prices on those items are always very good. They sell top notch bikes by people for whom biking is a way of life. Again, prices can be a tad high; but they sell superb quality products.
