I don't know if they just wanted to charge me an arm and a leg, or if they really didn't know what they were doing. But a very simple problem (power source needed replacement) turned into something they claimed would require tons of diagnostic tests and one-by-one replacements until the computer worked again.
Even *I* knew it was just the power source. I told them as much. But they were relentless, saying they could not tell for sure until this and that and the other thing were all replaced. They then charged me $86 to put my computer back together (if they even had it apart at all; I never saw it taken apart), and I was out the door. They offered to buy my computer for $100 on the spot, saying I would probably not get more for it from anyone else.
So off to Apple I went, and in five days they had replaced the power source and checked all systems for only $50. The computer now works perfectly. That will teach me to take my Mac anywhere but Apple. But I'll certainly stay away from MacWizards. They are nothing of the kind.
