We've been using Longman for all our electrical needs ever since they upgraded our electrical service as part of our kitchen upgrade a few years ago.

We had a rep from this company come out to give us an estimate for some post hurricane repairs. We showed him everything that needed to be done and he said he would get us an estimate. After a week or so we tried phoning him and the phone line seemed disconnected. We tried again and finally got through after about a month and were told we'd get the estimate emailed to us. About a week after that we received a rude email saying they were too busy and were not going to give us an estimate after all. Unprofessional and a waste of time.

I had a generator that I had never used and wasn't sure about getting it started and connected to the house. I called Longman Electric as they had replaced my electrical panel box some time back and their price was reasonable. They sent me Anthony the same electrician that did the panel box replacement, he got the generator and pour in oil and gas, checked that everything was ok, connected it to the house system and I was able to have electricity after the hurricane.

It went well. I can't remember the exact cost but I remember thinking it seemed a little high but I paid it and was grateful the flickering lights were no more. I would call them again.

They are punctual, knowledgeable, professional and hard working.  The only thing is that it is hard to get an appointment with them. They are very busy. But I trust this company!

A little pricey, but fair. They're punctual and do great work. Very knowledgeable about their work. Because they are so good, it can be very difficult to schedule an appointment, but they've always been worth the wait.

They were really good about coming out and showing up when they said they were going to. They provided all the stuff that the condominium required. They were really good about everything, excellent. The only thing is that I did question is, and this was not a big deal. We had an old fluorescent light in the kitchen, an ceiling light. The balanced needed to be replaced. Well, after he went to two separate places to find the balance, because it was an old fixture. I had given him the numbers ahead of time. After he went to two different places, he was putting it in. He said, the next time that this happens, you should really consider going with LED. Which if he had given us that option ahead of time, we would have done that. I can't say that its anything, it was my only thing. I wasn't upset or anything, but why don't you consider this, than going to two different places for the balance. It wasn't like he was trying to rip us off or anything. Even though we got charged for it. He just didn't think about it ahead of time, or whoever scheduled him didn't think about it. We will use him again. I had priced the balance myself. It was under $300. If they would have given me the option. When I spoken to someone else when I had it done, she had her closet lights replaced and they said do it with LED, and they did. It probably would have been the same price anyway. Except for that one little thing, I didn't know to ask that question, but they should have known. We would defiantly use them again. The work was a matter of couple of hours. An hour here, and the added for the travel to check out the places. For the balance. He cleaned up completely. That was the only thing, to give us the options to put the LED instead. We hadn't them before, and they were good about scheduling. He would call and say where he was, and when he would be here before.

I spoke with Chris on the phone. He was very courteous, knowledgeable , and quick to respond and schedule. They did a great job of providing paperwork needed for my HOA. Anthony arrived promptly and worked wonders in my seventies era condo. I can not say enough good things about Longman Electric.

Longman Electric did a great job. The outdoor button for my doorbell needed to be replaced. The person who took my call asked me to take a picture of it and email it to the company, so that they could have the proper part when they came to the house. A technician came on time, with the proper part, and completed the repair. Although it was a small job, everyone was very pleasant and professional. I would definitely recommend this company for any electrical work.

I have never had an issue with long electrical they do go work they show up on time and prepared to work. I have used them to install every lighting fixture in my newly purchased house as well as fix some electrical issues that we've had in the Attic. I will not hesitate to call them again. Armando and Anthony have been the greatest and they even came on a Saturday because they were behind schedule with appointments. This is the only electrical company that I feel comfortable using. Great service

It turned out I didn't need an electrician so I cancelled

Armando was our technician. I was impressed with their responsiveness to our call. Initially, we thought we would have to wait 2-3 days for service. However, they called about a hour later and said they had a job cancel, so they could send someone right over that same day. They arrived on time and Armando got to work on the project. He was skilled and efficient in his work. No concerns at all with the quality of the work. The charge was only slightly more than we expected, but not grossly excessive.

Never came to give me an estimate

Perfect! The technician was on-time, respectful, and diligent. He knew exactly what needed to be done (remove the old track lighting fixture, trim the wires, and install the new fixture), and he was efficient and professional while doing it. On top of that, he was friendly and conversational, even providing an enhancement suggestion for the new lighting. I'd strongly recommend using these guys!

Arrived on time.  After inspecting the location and all the electrical outlets as well the fan with the light, he recommended to either change the fan with light to one with remote control since the wiring is very old or he will need to rewire the whole bedroom because the current wires can hold only one set of electrical outlets (either the light or the fan but not both).

This was an excellent experience! I thought the bill was correct for the work completed.

First time using them. Communication was good. Electrician was on time. Seems reliable.

They were terrific. They were perfectly knowledgeable. They were efficient. I would use them again.

Perhaps these guys are great at electrical work but I'll never know.  In sum, after spending about 5 to 10 minutes on the phone to make an appointment and then going thru the pain of driving over to the property this morning and sitting around for over an hour, no one showed up.  Second time this is happened with these guys.  When it was clear no one was coming, I called and the response I got was  "I wasn't in the system."  So apparently the guy who took down all my information before and green lighted the appointment was either incapable of doing his job or determined to waste my time.

I contacted company as light switch for closet had sparked and no longer worked.  I contacted company asking for someone to come to fix quickly.  Company sent representative next day.  Rep showed up on time and did work quickly and at a reasonable price.

What a delight it was to deal with this company.  I called this morning and spoke to Chris Wagoner about my problem, found by a house inspector.  He advised me, and said he would get to it as soon as he could.  He called me back and sent the tech out to handle the issue this afternoon.  Anthony Herrera came and did the job very quickly.  Both these young men were prompt and a joy to have doing the job.  I would highly recommend them and their company.   In fact I intend to give their name to my real estate agent as he deals with a lot of these problems in his work and may steer some work to them.  Selling a house is very stressful and to have people such as these to handle issues that come up makes it a lot easier.
