After numerous individuals attempted to locate a leak in my pool, John Foster, the owner of Leakworks arrived and dealt with me in the most professional and courteous manner. If you need someone to locate and repair a leak in South Florida, without question, this is your guy. So refreshing to deal with someone who is an outstanding professional and who stands by his work. John Foster is a true expert in his craft. He dove in the pool and found a leak in one of the drains and was able to fix it on the spot with epoxy. The pool water line hasn't moved in days after the repair. Couldn't be happier with John's responsiveness in setting up the appointment and performing the work. I highly recommend him.

John represents the kind of contractor you which you'd get every time you hire someone. He is responsive, helpful, honest, on price and skilled. I contacted him first and showed up on time to our schedule, calmly took a swim in the pool and found and fixed two leaks. He even helped me figure out some of the equipment as I am a first time pool owner. About two weeks later I noticed the pool was loosing water at a very fast pace, so I called him again and left a voicemail. A few mins later he called back and we scheduled a new visit. He again showed up on time, very understanding, not upset or bothered for having to comeback. He found another leak hidden under the skimmer "door" and plugged it at no cost. I was going to wait a few more days before leaving the review just to see if the pool is now clear of leaks but I feel confident that if something happens, he'll be there to back his work. Highly recommended, I could not be happier with his work. [REVIEW UPDATED BY Angie's List - 3/27/2020] This is an update to a previous review. I definitely jumped the gun. John was very attentive and seemed very knowledgeable in the first visit. Went diving in the pool and finally pointed to the skimmer as the reason for the leak, patched it up and left. A couple of weeks later, I called him again because the pool was still loosing water, he showed up and patched the skimmer some more, this time he just tested around the skimmer area as he was confident the leak had to be there (at this point I left a very positive review as I was very pleased on how he responded so far). Few days later the situation was not resolved, called him again, he came again. This time he found a couple of spots around the spa that could be causing trouble, he patched them up. Didn't look for any other leaks or went into the pool again. At this point I was very skeptical and not to my surprise, the pool kept loosing water. I did all sort of "bucket tests" myself with and without the pump running, no significant differences so I suppose that the leaks are in the pool, not the plumbing system. Texted him again after a few weeks of testing and re-testing (holidays in between) and never received a response. Just sent him a follow up text to receive a response that my warranty on the patches expired and that I had to pay again $350 + $100 for a main drain check....for leaks(or leak) that were never fixed in the first place. I understand that coming 4 times to revisit work is not pleasant, as it is not paying $350 and being in the same spot. If the leaks were detected and fixed properly in the first visit that would have been the end of it. ...and yes there was construction going on in the house but it was all inside and for a limited time. No debris ever made its way into the pool.

John is awesome. I previously had a leak detection company come to locate a significant leak in my pool. The other company used only a microphone and misdiagnosed the leak location as my main drain and wanted to seal my main drain with Concrete. Not trusting the diagnosis I called LeakWorks to get a second opinion because they were rated so highly. John was awesome, he was very responsive and came out a few days later. He texted me before he came to let me know he was leaving, arrived on time (a rarity here in south FL) and went into the pool with a scuba tank and immediately spotted 3 cracks in the pool wall. He tested them with Dye to confirm and then sealed them with Epoxy, all covered in the inspection fee. 2 days have gone by and the leak is Fixed! To think I almost let the other company seal my main drain. Thank you John!

John was a consummate professional, and worked with me even though I was somewhat outside of his normal service area. Very knowledgeable, and had good general advice about pool maintenance. I'd recommend him to anyone with a leaky pool.

The work was fine however I have been trying to get a receipt for the $325 which we paid before the gentleman left our home. I have called twice and send 2 e-mails with no answer to the e-mails. The man my husband spoke to told him he had sent receipt to my email which I never received. Called again and the same man said he had sent it and maybe it went to my spam which it did not and he would send another. Again nothing. I then sent the e-mails and to date I have received nothing from this company which I find very unprofessional. This has been since July 11 I have tried to resolve this to no avail.

It went phenomenal! John answered my phone call right away. I explained what was happening with the water loss. John asked a series of questions about my pool. I text John my address. He text me of the date (only 2 days after I called) and stayed in close communication on the time. He put on his scuba gear and dove the pool for a solid hour, locating the leak in my pool light. John repaired the leak and my water levels have stayed steady since he left. I couldn't be happier!

Outstanding job! I was in a bind and contacted John the owner about my leaking pool. John came over the next day and dived the pool. He discovered a cracked skimmer piece that he was able to fix on the spot for a minimal cost. The pool is now holding water and working just fine. I highly recommend LeakWorks.

The water in my pool was cold but LeakWorks uses wet suits and doesn't seem to mind. They also bring compressed air to stay under water for a long time looking for leaks. LeakWorks located 4 leaks in my pool and fixed them all. They also saw where leaks might start and patched there too. All of it took a couple hours. Price for their service was much less than i thought it might be.

I had a wonderful experience with Leak Works! I called them when it became evident that there was a leak in my pool. The leak was diagnosed and fixed in a quick and efficient manner.

John was punctual and professional. Found the leak quickly and fixed it at a reasonable price. Very responsive to phone calls or texts.

John arrived on time and began checking all potential areas of leakage. In about an hour, he notified me he had found one major leak and one minor leak. Within several minutes he had repaired both areas of leakage. His fee for his services was as estimated when setting the appointment, and included the repairs he made. One of the two areas of repair was visible from the pool deck, and he took the time to match the color of the repair material to the surrounding tile and stone. I hope I don't need leak detection and repair service anytime soon, but if I do, I know who to call!

John at Leakworks was great. He showed up right on time. He found several leaks in my pool - at the skimmer, around the main drains, and on the pool floor. He fixed all the leaks and even patched where he suspected nut be a leak in the future. All work was completed in under an hour. He fixed all the leaks for one price. Now for the first time in months, I don't need to add water to the pool in the morning. I will definitely use LeakWorks again if and when I have another leak.
