To provide the estimate, in June 2008, Lafarga was pleasant and seemed professional but that was the end of that. We paid him on July 2, 2008, and asked for the work to be done on Friday, August 1, 2008, before we moved into our new home because we have concrete ceilings and the dust released would be incredible. After picking up the check we never saw him again. He just didn't show up that Friday and had no intention of coming until "some time" the following week. He sent kids to do the installation on the following Monday only because we begged him and because he knew that our bedroom has 10'ft glass panes instead of walls on the South and East facing sides. They sent us the wrong tracks. The curtains were so poorly constructed and installed that light seeps in from everywhere and the curtains do not even meet properly. In my baby's room the curtains are flush to the wall on one side and about 4 inches from the wall on the other. We were supposed to get a modern look (ripplefold) but got the antiquated 3-pleat (little crown) look. Then, he vanished completely. He left us with a track installed for the sheer (the wrong track) and never answered another phone call, never came back. I should have checked the BBB which rated his company a "D". Don't be fooled by "30 years in the business", which he will tout over and over and over again. I have never been so disappointed. He left my husband and I shocked by his lack of professionalism.
