Complete painting of exterior of 5,000 sq. ft. 2-story home, including refinishing/varnishing of wooden loggia. Kawika did his usual thorough, quality, and professional job. He was very patient with us as we selected paint colors, and was very good at guiding us through that process. The completed work looks fantastic; better than I anticipated. We had landscaping work being done simultaneously, and Kawika was great at coordinating with them so that each project could move forward without clashing with the other. I cannot recommend Kawika highly enough.

As you will note from the date of the service this review is very late. I thought it had been entered but recently discovered that it had not. Mr. Phang did a wonderful job on the house. Many years ago I was in the painting business and I was impressed with the preparation work he did and the care he took in painting the house. If necessary I would hire him again without hesitation. However, I doubt that that will be necessary for a long time due to the quality of the paint used and the care with which it was applied.

I can't say enough positive things about K&K Painting. I have dealt with A LOT of companies for various home improvements over the years and this has been, by far, my best experience. Kawika is highly professional and knowledgeable. His pride in his work is evident and I am very pleased with the outcome and the look of the house. He did not cut any corners, using the best materials and taking his time to make the many patches and repairs needed to ensure the house not only looked nice, but would also keep out moisture. He was always quick to return my calls, answering questions and providing help with decisions. He also did a great job consulting me throughout the process. I would (and already have) highly recommend K&K Painting. I will be calling them again for any future painting projects around my house.

We are very pleased with not only the end result of the project but with the entire process. The owner of K&K Painting, Kawika, followed through promptly on his commitments and was responsive to our needs and requests. Assisted by Eric, the two of them were very meticulous and detail oriented. They showed up on time every day when they were scheduled, cleaned up after themselves, were very organized, and demonstrated courteous and professional behavior. Kawika understood what we wanted and worked with us to get there. Based on this experience we have decided to utilize K&K Painting for the exterior painting of our home in the near future.

K & K Painting is a reliable, professional company. They were on time every day, thoroughly explained what work would be performed on a daily basis and were very respectful of my belongings, i.e. moving and covering things. Both team members were polite. The "dynamic duo" finished ahead of estimated schedule. I highly recommend them.

Excellent quality work, takes his time, very knowledgeable, and punctual. It's hard to find somebody who pays attention to detail and won't rip you off and knows what they're doing like Kawika. He's one you can trust to get the job done right the first time.

Kawika at K&K Painting delivered as promised. Kawika and his employee Eric were a pleasure to work with. All details were explained before hand and they took the time to explain everything to make me understand the process and scope of work. I will definitely be using them for future projects.

Everything from the initial call to the last communication was good. There were minor misunderstandings but it was probably due to both parties glossing over some details that should've been brought up. But overall I would definitely recommend this company. Very easy to work with. Very responsive. Excellent price, great quality.

Kawika was able to match colors and textures beautifully, where other painters were suggesting skimming the entire wall to hide patches. This resulted in a price that was significantly lower than competitors, as well as a better schedule. Kawika was very accommodating with changes in scope and schedule, and didn't hesitate to make recommendations contrary to what I thought I might want. He was usually right. I will definitely be calling him for any and all future work.

The job exceeded my expectations. I was happily surprised that the patching allowed the ceiling to look as good as new. The entire job was done with excellence and the guys cleaned up completely... leaving no evidence of work being done. I highly recommend this company.

Super !! on time. Very professional and even though that I was not able to be there for the process, he was always making sure to keep me informed. My husband and I are very satisfied with the work they did. As far as pricing; fair. Maybe you could find cheaper, but knowing that you can trust your home and that the work will get done the right way and professionally, "PRICELESS"

He was very professional and thorough. He showed up on time and worked very hard. He completed all the work in a timely manner and within the time frame he gave me at the beginning of the job.

Everything was great! We got all thr pricing and information about the work that would be completed up front. It was organized in a detailed bill so we could see where the costs were going. The company owner arrived when expected and on time. Thr company owner notified me when he was at my property and updated me when the portions of work should be completed. He pointed out some necessary fixes and made me aware of things he noticed while working on our home to help improve it even beyond his scope of work. Work was done professionally and neatly.

Everything went great! They came and went in just 3 days which was helpful to not have my house a mess for so long (I'm crazy about messes like that)! Speaking of.... They were super clean all around- used drop clothes while painting and vacuumed after sanding the base boards.
They moved all the furniture so I didn't have to and then moved it back.
Would highly recommend them to anyone that's interested. Very friendly and polite; super professional too.

The owner, Kawika, came over with one other guy, and they got all the work done in a day and half. They came recommended from a friend, so I knew from the start they would be nice and trustworthy. (My friend was right!) They were quick and punctual, and even picked up the paint for me, so I didn't haven't to worry about it. I left my apartment how it usually is, and when I came back, they had already moved the furniture out of the way and back again -- everything was in its right place and unharmed. Great work overall, and I've gotten lots of compliments. I recommend them to any of my friends who ask :)
