My townhouse suffered from severe water damage and mold due to leaks in the common wall space.   After our insurance adjuster made his initial assessment, Eric came in and documented the water damage with his FLIR imaging camera, which shows the damage not visible to the naked eye.  Eric's report clearly highlighted the extent of the damage with pictures and text.   I gave the report to the insurance adjuster, which resulted in a revised assessment and increased (and more appropriate) coverage for the loss.
Eric is a very experienced professional and I would use him again.

I called Eric for an ongoing odor issue I was having in two of my
bedrooms. He came out to look at my home the very next day. He was very
knowledgeable, courteous, and most importantly HONEST. He did not find a
problem, but gave me tons of information and even checked out an area
that I suspected the roof was leaking with his infrared camera. He did
not try to scare me with mold  like most other mold re-mediators and
answered all of my questions. Call this guy today, I promise you will be
VERY happy! 

Mr. Eric Shapiro is extremely knowledgable in his line of work. He takes the time to thoroughly answer each and every one of the numerous questions I had before, during, and after the work was completed. He is very professional and establishes a level of trust with his clients with his thoroughness, attention to detail, and willingness to explain all details regarding mold growth, potential hazards, and proper remediation.  The work completed was very neat, thorough, and detail-oriented.  The post summary report was provided in a timely manner, was professionally written and thorough, and included both camera photos and infrared photos of the area of work. He is easily reached by phone and extremely prompt in returning calls and emails, even on weekends. I do consider myself a very picky individual when it comes to hiring companies and I have to say that I was extremely impressed by the qualifications, quality of work, and level of customer service provided this company. I highly recommend IAQ.

Eric is a fantastic professional starting with his phone demeanor, his website, his credentials. He followed that up by arriving promptly, taking time to explain everything he was doing and sharing his knowledge so that we could figure out the answer to the question, "What is the source of the water?". His continued follow up until our problem was resolved went well beyond our expectations.

The name of the guy was Eric Shapiro. He took clothes home, then he came over and he blow dried. He was polite and he tried as hard as he could. It did not work but he tried as hard as he could. I could smell it, I am chemically dependant, I am chemically sensitized now unfortunately. He did his best he could, above and beyond. I would absolutely refer him to other people. I would use his services in the future if needed.

Eric is a rare professional here in South Florida. He treated our home like it was his home. He is available to answer questions long after he received payment for his services. Eric is a very professional and caring expert in the field of indoor air quality.

Eric was extremely personable and knowledgeable.  He went above and beyond what I expected.  Although the testing cost a bit more than I was expecting, for the service and time expended, it was quite reasonable.  The testing showed that the VOCs (basically, toxic chemicals) in the apartment were above what my husband and I could tolerate.  Eric also was able to provide information on how to make the house greener.  I would never even rent, and certainly never purchase, another place without calling Eric first.

The service I received from Mr. Shapiro went beyond what I expected and was much more than other companies said they would be providing.  The cost was a little higher than some other quotes I was given but the service and information I received was well worth it.  I was also impressed with Mr. Shapiro's credentials and was glad to hear that he also teaches other professionals in his industry. I would definately use his services again in the future.

We had some general contractors come out, but they weren't 100% sure what the source of the leak was without cutting into the concrete. We were reluctant to start cutting without more information so we had Eric, of Indoor Air Quality Services, come out with an infrared camera to evaluate the areas under the concrete slab that weren't visible to the naked eye. He came out promptly and explained everything to us: how the camera works, the type of information that the camera was able to ascertain, etc. He covered the walls inside and outside the house, as well as the floor. After wards, he provided us with a detailed report and even gave us the phone number for a public adjuster to assist us with the claim. Overall, it was a great experience. While I am hopeful we don't have to use his services again (would prefer no more leaks to deal with), he was really great when we needed him.
