Home Security Concepts - ADT Authorized Dealer

I was nervous about dealing directly with ADT which was having random people call me to give me an estimate. Without an "office" I didn't trust that system. So I looked on Angie's List and found Home Security Concepts, so that I was dealing with a local company for the estimate and the install. They were great, I was very comfortable with them and in my home. It was crystal clear what I was getting and how much it would cost. I've had the system for about a month and a half with no problems.

I've used ADT before so I was not put off by any bad reviews because I've always had good service.  Once again, the service was great.  I'm very happy with my new system, thrilled that I can monitor and activate it from my phone (when I'm not at the house.)  It took all day to set up my very large home but the technician explained everything.   I know there are less costly companies out there but I've always been happy and secure with ADT (in Florida) so didn't want to take a chance on anything unknown.

The installation was completed as planned. A few of the transponders fell out from window frames where installed because the adhesive tape used did not hold the transponder weight after a few days from installation. This happened three times and set off the alarm and police came to the house twice. The supplier was responsive in coming to the house and re-installing the transponders that fell to the floor with screws to the window frames instead of adhesive tape. After the third event I required from the supplier to secure all 22 transponders with screws to prevent the problem. The supplier technician did so and I have not had any problems since. I reported these events to ADT central office also so they consider changing the installation process for future clients.

Said they could fix my alarm system, gave them the brand and the problem then at last minute said they could not fix a wire. Thnks for wasting my time. It was a loose wire.

These guys are the best. Take it from me, I have been in the electrical business for over 16 years. I am picky. I am anal. I am OCD. These guys met all the expectations I have for a smooth installation and clean delivery.
It is easy for people to think that an alarm system is easy to install-- or the stigma of simplicity because something is wireless makes it easier, it isn't. These guys maximized my components to include protection at every door, window and open space. In fact, all of my doors and windows are an oil rubbed bronze color. They made sure that the door contacts matched the frame color so they wouldn't stick out like a sore thumb. That is a big 5 STAR in my book. Everything looks natural.
One might ask and quot;Hey Rebecca, if you have been in the business for 16 years, why didn't you do it yourself?and quot; Good question--because I could have...BUT, knowing these guys are as OCD and as picky as I am, and there were two of them, getting the job done faster than a weekend warrior, I was happy to let them do it. Plus, the attic is hot as h*** this time of year--well anytime of year for Miami.
They freed up a day for me, the worry about not having my alarm in my house (keeping my family safe), and that is invaluable to my family.
These guys are like extended family. Call them. They will make you life easier, and safer.
