Worst experience ever! All irresponsible people; they passed on the responsibility from person to person. I don't know who to call anymore. I hired Home Depot to put on a new roof since July 2016, I was promised by the sales person that the roof was going to be completed by 08/22/16 because I told them that that was the day I was going back to work. However, that did not happen and they started working until after I went back to work. When they started the job, the shingles I ordered where not the ones they started to install and I told the workers to stop immediately when they put up a small section on the corner of the roof. Home Depot admitted the color was different from the color they showed me in their samples. HD agreed on installing tile and raised the price to $30,000.00 They stated the roof was going to be completed by 09/16. Once again, it did not happen. The house went on with a complete mess, even when Hurricane Matthew was announced. I called many times for someone to come and inspect the roof for any debris and finally the day before the hurricane, a guy stopped in the driveway, looked at it from the driveway and said it was fine (the tarp was on, being held with the shingles). My neighbor went on his roof and said there were empty gallons of water, nails, debris, and other material on the roof in the back of the house and he was not happy about it because of the danger of those debris flying. So, I expected Hurricane Matthew with a big mess in my driveway, patio (tv company cables hanging down low from the ceiling to the floor in the patio, etc), nails and debris in the backyard, etc. my daughter's car got a flat tire because of a nail (many nails all over my property, front, back, driveway, grass), my pool pump broke because they placed wood against it. In conclusion, they just ended the roof before Thanksgiving, but the City left a fine by the door stating that the permit was denied. I called the city and I was told that according to them, the roof was still in progress because the permit for the tile they decided to install was denied. The city and I did not understand why HD completed my house's roof without a permit of tile in progress and without the city inspecting the foundation of the roof before installing the tile. It seems that the original second permit was for flat tile and not for the one I ordered and HD installed. In other words, HD completed my house roof without permission from the city. So I am afraid it is not safe. I went on top of the house, after having a surgery, and realized that there is a gap that does not look safe even though HD states it is a normal thing. Also, a piece of a tile is broken on the corner of the back of the house, by the corner of the patio screen enclosure, and it allows for water to leak in between the gutter and the roof (it is going to ruin the fascia of the house). The water leak may also be due to the fact that HD workers removed the pool screen enclosure and did not put it back correctly. They left the gutter with missing screws and full of sand, mud, and trash. In addition to all of these, the worker also broke the patio screen door hinge and I had to end up purchasing one and installing it. The original installation manager, Adalid Davila, passed on his mess to a lady, named Kathy, who stopped by the house to meet the City inspector on 02/24/2017. She showed the inspectors a hard copy of an engineer's document showing the work in progress, obviously, because no physical inspection from the city was conducted during the installation of the tile. I don't agree with this procedure and I hired an attorney to fight for me and make home depot remove the tile and install it the way it is supposed to be, with real, physical inspections or to reach an agreement with me, or remove the tile and allow me to hire a responsible company. The attorney stated that Home Depot would not loose anything as HD has millions of dollars and would not object on removing the tile and allowing me to choose a responsible company. Or to reach an agreement with me. I'm asking for at least 50% off the price and to be responsible if the roof flies away during a category 1 hurricane as they did not follow the proper physical, visible inspection in progress. I have proof of the many denials from the city. I am really tired of this back and forth and so is my city. They were supposed to turn in some more documentation, but they have not done it. This project has really come to the point of abandonment on the part of Home Depot. The lady named Kathy (she never gave me her last name or business card) took my original documents and has not returned them to me or contacted me in a long time. No one from HD cares; the most irresponsible and disrespectful people. I would like to reach a settlement with HD and avoid a legal dispute. It will be up to Home Depot. When I decided to place this roof order back in July 2016, I was not doing well, and I even signed a document to one of HD employees at the Cleveland Clinic as I was admitted there and recovering from a surgery and the sales person needed my signature on a document from Ygrene. I have called the head quarters, but they refer everything back to the contractor and he just laughs and says not to bother calling HD headquarters and just to call him. He stated that he is the one that makes the decisions in regards to roof installation and not Home Depot.

Good prices on moving supplies and plants. Bit difficult to get hold of someone to help though, especially in gardening area.

Home depot has a great selection and good prices, but there were not a lot of sales people or cashiers. They could use more cashiers to reduce lines.
