Skeptical about pricing and practices. After explaining on Day 1 that the issue was my thermostat, the technician did everything but inspect my thermostat. Of course the a.c. wasn't working when the technician left. Day 2, I was going to be charged for a second service call. I asked to not be charged as the technician did not address the thermostat issue the previous day. Technician #2 said he needed to perform the same duties as technician #1, as he didn't trust Technician #1's work. Then Technician #2 wanted to charge me $300 for a new thermostat. Home Depot has the same thermostat online for $30. Why would I pay for an item that is 10 times it's actual price? I will never use Hill York in the future and will not recommend this company to anyone I know. Word of mouth is powerful. If I were Hill York, I would engage in more legitimate practices.

Base on my experience, their price was expensive and the person's quality of work was terrible. While he answered the call quickly, he was not invited to do the work, yet he showed up uninvited. Their professionalism is poor and unacceptable. I will never use this company in the future.

I HAVE USED THEM SEVERAL TIMES BECAUSE THEY SHOW UP ON TIME AND THEY ARE VERY PROFESSIONAL. THE WORK THEY DID WAS REALLY GREAT. THE PRICE WAS VERY REASONABLE AND COMPETITIVE.
