Actually used them on two projects, one in 2018-ish and another within the last month. Project 1 was addition of storm shutters to our existing windows in our ranch-style home in south FL , Project 2 was repair/tuneup of the shutter locks and shutter mechanical operation. Very happy with results of both!

My front impact door was custom made. It is beautiful. Far exceeding the quality of the door, was the exceptional customer service provided, not only by the owners Matt and Andrew Guinn, but by their installing team as well. The installation and finishes of the door are amazing. Outstanding work, clean. This company is all about customer service to ensure customer satisfaction. The service is personalized and phone calls are returned immediately. I cannot believe that now a days, this type of customer service is still provided. I would highly recommend this company.

Had accordion shutters installed by Quinn and Sons, however, the locks on the shutters are difficult to use. Other than that they did quality work.

They delivered my home needs and I am pleased with all the work was done as expected.

Google review summary: I received an estimate for shutters for my home by Matt Guinn. It was in writing. However, when I told him I was ready to submit a down payment, he sent me a text raising the written estimate over $1,000. I have both the written estimate and the text with the price increase upon request. Buyer BEWARE... This man inundated me with texts/phone calls during work hours and as early as 7 in the morning. He has no boundaries. He also believed that he could coerce me into the job by telling me the price of metal will be going up higher June 1st. Even though he claimed to measure the windows (I was home when he walked my home and sent out incorrectmeasurements), upon my request he sent a man out to explain the installation process who measured precisely. Then when Guinn reviewed the actual measurements, he increased his price over $1,000.00. Guinn does business in a very disingenuous manner.

Worst customer service Ive ever had with a company. Do NOT use this company if you can avoid it. They must buy reviews because I went by their great customer reviews and have had an awful experience. After many months of waiting on the manufacturer for the windows and doors, turns out that Andrew Guinn (owners son) ordered them in the incorrect color although very clear in the contract (white instead of brown as required by the HOA) and we had to wait for a new set again. Its been almost 11 months since the process started. On top of it all, the door and windows DID NOT PASS INSPECTION! They disregarded our complaints of the installation. For example, the door was very heavy to open and we were told to just eat some steak to open it. The inspector had trouble opening it so that was one of the several reasons they didnt pass inspection. They take no accountability by blaming most if the issues on the manufacturer, make no apologies for a poor experience and are overall extremely unprofessional. Would not recommend.

I took 3 bids. Guinn & Sons were competitive with one of the other two but their communication won them the job. Mr Guinn was great as were the installation crew. They got the job done quickly and professionally. In a city like Miami where quality service is lacking these guys stand out from the pack.

This has been one of the most honest and trustworthy businesses I have come across. I had an issue with my hurricane accordion shutters and this company (shout out to Mark, and Justin) was on top of the issue and had it resolved in no time. I will be referring family and friends to this company for hurricane protection needs.

This company is excellent. When you call either a person answers or returns your calls that same day. The installers were clean and efficient. They cleaned up ever bit of the old windows and we passed inspection with flying colors. Due to COVID they were very respectful of wearing masks, keeping their distance and cleaning up. I highly recommend them.

My family used Guinn & Sons last year before hurricane season and Matt was extremely helpful! Also, his staff and everyone involved in the project were respectful, pleasant and professional. I highly recommend them and would definitely use them again!

The installation of the Hurricane Accordion Shutters was very professionally done . Wayne the installer was very punctual and customer service was excellent as he explained everything he was doing.
