Guarantee Floridian Pest Control

We have been using Guarantee Floridian for 20+ years to spray our yard and maintain our termite fumigation subscription. Like most, we procrastinated for years to deal with the upheaval, inconvenience and concerns with moving out of the house for two days in order to tent for termites, for which we were long overdue. Guarantee Floridian, now under the Erlich Pest Control's umbrella made the process seamless, providing us with ample lead time to arrange for alternate accommodations for ourselves and our pets and providing us with clear, easy to follow prep instructions. In particular, I would like to commend the exceptional tenting crew from office supervisor Saul Gamez to tenting supervisor Juan Aquino, who were unbelievably communicative, punctual to the minute, extremely careful and conscientious when it came to preventing structural damage (roof tile, tv dish, exhaust stack, gutters, etc), not to mention creatively accommodating in being able to spare certain landscaping and a vegetable garden from being enclosed in the tent. The fact that many of the crew have been with the company for as long as they have, even through the various transitions the company has been through, speaks volumes as to the loyalty and professionalism of the the staff. lastly, I would also like to highly recommend Erlich's affordable Termite Warranty Inspection plan, which payable annually, provides for free inspections, unlimited spot spraying and when the time comes, tenting your property without having to come up with an up-front lump-sum amount.

The. Worst.  I have been using them for a year.  sometimes they come to do their service, sometimes not.  FOr about 5-6 months I have been dealing with a black ant issue in my kitchen.  They either do nothing or claim "black ants are hard to kill in the rainy season".  FInally called to cancel my service and they offered to come at no charge and take care of it.  Then the guy didn't show.  Avoid at all costs.

They did a good job.  They were here on time.  Everything was great.  They have really good prices.

They come out quarterly for the exterior. They do the interior as needed. They always do a very good job. One time I did have trouble getting a hold of them, but it was resolved quickly.

They were very honest. The people that put the tent on were their employees, not contracted out. They had liability insurance as well which was very reassuring.

I have used them for termites and found them much less expensive than other companies around the area.  They do a good job.  I do feel they lack communcation at times but seems to be the florida way, not just them.  I would recommend them.

They put a tent over the house then after the tent, they had to go under the house to spray for the subterranean. They come first and they call you and tell you its okay for you to come in. They give you a 2 year guarantee. You have some cent but it's not a lot of cent and I just kept my windows open to make sure all of it was out. They are really good for me. I read the contract and I know what I needed to do. They explained to me that I only pay what I paid because I had 2 different kinds of treatment. Anybody I refer to them, they give me $25.

We recently purchased a home that had been vacant for some time. And, due to the vacancy had developed quite a pest problem. Roaches of all sizes, wasp nest in nearly all 17 windows on the home, lizards, and ants. By chance we came across guarantee Floridian called an they promptly came out for a home inspection (approx. 2 days??). The technician arrived on time, surveyed the property, and added an unknown pest to the large list, termites, which I was told had done extensive damage, and we're much more of a problem than I had been lead to believe from my home inspection report. He suggested we tent the property, and an appointment was set (again apprx. 2-3 days later). I could complain about the lack of pre warning on the day of their arrival ( I was told would call a couple hours prior), but that is not the point of this review. They came covered the house, sprayed, we went away for two days, and returned to find massive bug carnage. Yeah:) The gentlemen that came to spray arrived shortly after the tent was removed, and sprayed the interior and exterior of the home. Was told that the spray would create a perimeter around the property that would deter bugs from entering. Couple days later I started seeing lizards in the house again, but seemed very dazed and confused. No problem. Problem began about a month later when an occasional roach could be seen scurrying unexpectedly primarily in the master bathroom, or running out of my shoe boxes. I called the company and left a message two times in a row. No return call?? I called and finally got a live person, explained my situation and was told that my technician would contact me. No return call?? Called back again, and re-explained the whole shebang, was told that they were going to contact the technician immediately. The next morning I received two voicemails from tech (while at work). My husband returned his call the next day, and was told that he could not come until following Monday. Monday arrived and an hour after his scheduled arrival time the technician called coughing, and said he apologized but was sick and wouldn't be able to make his appointment. We have not received another call from him or Guarantee Floridian regarding our issues. We have decided not to hold our breath, cut our losses, and go with a company that values our business and handles their business in a more professional manner.

They come every other month. I am satisfied with them. I will use them again in the future.

The termite treatment was very good. They killed all of the bugs and didn't break anything in the process. They were on time. I was quite pleased. They did exactly what they said they were going to do.

I brought in two or three folks to look at the termite problem and I felt that Guarantee Floridian had the most balanced solution.  I have dealt with them in the past and I thought they were fair in what they assessed.  They did not try to go over the hill.  They had the right thing, a localized treatment which is what I needed.  I will continue to use them in the future.

We use to have a contract with them but I cancelled it last year because we didn't need it again.  I've just called them to do some more spraying.  They are prompt to come and give an estimate.  They have pretty good prices.  They came regularly and I never had to call them to ask where they were.

2 Days later there was a large live rat in the toilet.  I called and spoke to Nestor(he gave his cell and said call anytime) and asked what to do.  He replied "I only deal with dead rats".  He suggested that maybe I hit it in the head with a hammer.  Needless to say I killed the rat.  At the Home show I spoke to the people from the Guarantee Floridian booth.  They apologized and related they would call me that week. never heard from them again.

When they were here, something was damaged on the solar water system on the roof. I came home to find hot water all over the front yard. When they removed the tent, they left without saying a word. I went to the office, but I didn't even get an apology. He said it was something that I didn't do. I told him that someone could have told me that there was something broken while they were working on my home, but no one did. I have noticed termite droppings since then. I wish I had known about Angie's List when I hired these guys!

This was fairly routine pest treatment at first. The service was performed on time and cheerfully, and the bugs disappeared. A week later, I discovered a bee hive in my garage roof. They returned quickly to deal with that problem, too. In all, a very responsive and professional company.

We found evidence of a termite infestation in one very localized spot in our office. Guarantee Floridian told us they could treat that one area, so we had them do it. We had to have them come back one month later to re-treat that same spot. One month later we had a small swarm of termites. We called them to come back out again to ask for a complete estimate on how to once and for all get rid of the termites. Each time we called them to come back out it was several days before they showed up. The manager was supposed to call me back with an estimate on tenting the building, but he never did.

When I first discovered termites in my house, I called this company since I pay them yearly in a protection policy for termites in particular. Despite spot fumigation, which they did three times, I kept seeing flying termites in my house. It took awhile, and a phone call from the government official, but in the end they honored their agreement with me and tented my house without cost. They did a good job, and were professional when it came to doing the actual tenting.

The representative, Greg, showed up on time and did a thorough treatment of the townhouse, including the attic. He was very pleasant and professional. He also advised me that I could contact them at any time if I saw evidence of more termites. After 3 or 4 months, I did see a couple of small termite piles and contacted Guarantee Floridian to come back out. The office personnel always answer the phones quickly, and an appointment was set up within the next week. Again, the gentleman (Shawn this time) showed up on time, was thorough and very professional. They have been a pleasure to work with, and the price is very reasonable as well!

I live in a townhouse, and my neighbors have termites, and I am in the process of selling my house and I couldn't tent my house so this was the alternative. They were on time, very polite, and the sales representative called me afterwords to make sure that everything went well. It took less time than expected. I have also recommended them to two other people. This method is much better than having the house tented, and its the same guarantee.
