I contacted several vendors through Angie's List yesterday morning. By afternoon I had received a call from Glass Doctor, and this morning at 9:00 one of their guys was installing the glass.  It took less than an hour and he did an excellent job.  The woman who called me to make the appointment was professional and helpful.  (She missed me the first time. Instead of leaving voice-mail and scratching it off her list, she called back. Extra points for that.)  The man who came to do the job was quick, competent, and courteous.  I will hire them again and I will recommend them to friends.

They charged me a lot.  I don’t know if it was their fault, but when they left, the shower leaked all over and the doors leaked, but it might have been a design flaw on the door and not particularly their fault.  I did not call them to come back and look, we just resolved the problems our self.  I had not worked with shower doors and I wanted someone specifically that did that and they were close to my area and they gave me immediate service, they came right away.  It was kind of expensive.

I called Glass Doctor for a broken sliding glass patio door. They came out and took out the broken glass right away, but had to order the replacement glass because it was a custom size. They came back the next day and got it installed in a hurry. They guys who showed up were very pleasant and professional, and knew exactly what they were doing.

They were a little pricey but they did a very good job and we feel that it was worth it for the quick response. We would use them again but hopefully with better timing.
