The two siliding doors were really hard to open and the window would not stay open. Marco was very professional, showed up on time, told me in details what needed to be done, gave me a fair quote for the job and came through as agreed. He cleaned after the job and sent me a video of the results, which was quite neat. No deposits or any upfront fees. Very polite and friendly. I would certainly hire him again and recommend his services.

Marco is one of the best and most reliable contractors that we have ever found in Miami. He is honest, punctual, reliable, fair, and very customer-oriented. His price was more than $1,000 lower than the next closest bid. He got the job done quickly and as promised. He even spent a few hours going to our neighbors on lower floors to make sure that no glass debris had fallen onto their balconies. Marco is a real professional that goes above and beyond!

It's great to have someone like Marco fix something that was a headache for so long. He's so good at what he does. After purchasing a "deal" from Angie's List, Marco emailed and called me to schedule an appointment. He was right on time on the date of the appointment. He came in looked at the job and went to get the pieces he needed from his truck. He communicated what he was going to do and he showed me the old and replacement pieces while working on the sliding door. I'm extremely happy with how easily the door opens and closes. Marco is the reason why I value my membership to Angie's List.

I have never purchased an "Angie's List" deal before, but thought I'd try it when one was offered for sliding glass door repair. I purchased it online.  I was then asked to provide three dates that I would be available for the work to be done.  Immediately after I chose my dates I received a response and a date and time was scheduled. I thought I would have to wait forever, but the appointment was scheduled for three days after I purchased the deal. Everything was so easy and fast, I was just waiting for something to go wrong.  But, I am happy to say NOTHING WENT WRONG!  Marco was well prepared from the start.  He brought all his tools and supplies in and accessed the problem with my door and why it wasn't sliding well. He took the frame off, changed the wheels and cleaned the track.  He was so polite, explained why the problem happened in the first place and gave me recommendations on how to prevent the same problem from occuring in the future. I would not hesitate to use this company again and highly recommend it to anyone who needs work done on their sliding door.  My door now opens so easy, Marco is my miracle worker. Thank you!

Service was excellent. The first company came and told me it was a two-man job rescheduled and then told me that it could not be done. I then called Florida extreme. The service man for Florida xtreme was very professional and very good. He completed the job and just a few hours and everything works perfect. I'm very happy.

After a mix-up in dates, Marco made every effort to gain my satisfaction with the work he performed--and he was extremely successful!
Marco showed up on time, and spent several hours cleaning, repainting, and replacing bearings and the slider screen, as well as resealing around the slider frame.  I had thought the door needing replacing, but it now glides with a touch and looks like new.  I HIGHLY recommend Marco Pellim.

Marco  arrived on time at 9 am.   He examined the door and told my husband, yes he could fix it and that he had all the necessary parts on the truck. He gave us a choice of plastic or steel balls, the steel would be slightly more expensive. Marco worked non-stop for three hours.  When he was done I was amazed at how easy it is to operate the door, it's like brand new.  On the way out he was also kind enough to re-install one of  our window screens that had blown out with a storm.  I asked him what else he does and he said he focuses on door and window repairs and replacements along with screens.  I would definitely use him again.  He worked all by himself which did not surprise me since this was a small job. He is a gentleman, quiet, and hardworking.  I highly recommend him.

Marco came out when he said he would and was patient as I attended another contractor whose appointment was running behind.  He gave me a quote and on the spot I had him perform the work.  He was efficient, very polite and best of all my sliding doors open and close like new again.  He showed me the rusted parts that had been replaced and cleaned up after himself.  I would recommend him to repair any sliding door issues.

. I have two sliding patio doors to my deck which are around 12 years old and have become increasingly difficult to open. In fact my wife now calls me if she wants to go out on the deck. Marco arrived exactly on time and offered a couple of alternatives, price wise, for dealing with our doors. I was a little skeptical of some of the other reviewers reporting that after the work was completed they could open/close their doors with one finger. After I had chosen our preferred method Marco went to work and the job took just over 3 hours. When he had completed the job, we were absolutely delighted that our doors now really do open/close with one finger.They are like new doors. Marco was extremely polite and informative and we would have no hesitation in using him again.

I was so impressed with this gentlemen- he was everything you would expect from a service person and more, prompt, courtious- And went beyond what he was called to do - for example fixing the locking system on my doors- and he did not raise the price for that personal touch!  He took the time to show me and explain what caused the problem.   I would recommend him to EVERYONE!

All our patio sliders have the original wheel assemblies. That would make them 36 years old. They made them pretty well, because only the kitchen door, which gets the most use, finally gave up awhile ago.  I lubed the track to compensate for the nonworking wheel, but soon was  doing it too often with less results.
Headed over to Angie's List and started the search. Only took about 10 seconds to find Florida Xtreme, as they were the first to actually specify  "wheels replacement" in the description of their sevices. I'm sure all the shops do wheels,but seeing it in print just jumped out at me. Looked at the comments, read the reviews, made the call, and left a message Friday afternoon.
Marco Pellim, the owner, called back, listened to my problem and made an 8:30 AM appointment for Monday. 
Got a courtesy call from Marco Monday morning, letting me know he would be a little late and apologizing. It was something he had no control over, and it was no problem.
He arrived in his traveling workshop with all the tools and parts to repair just about any slider with any type of problem.
After removing the door, he examined it,  as well as the door frame and the track.
 He said every thing looked ok and just the wheel assemblies needed replacing. He showed me a plastic wheel and a more expensive stainless wheel. Marco pointed out that stainless was an option that  waterfront homes or houses without a covered patio should choose but  was not necessary in my case. Big savings for me.
He went to work on the door and it was a pleasure watching a professional doing a methodical job. There were no trips back to the van for another tool or missing piece. Once he started, evrything went smoothly even though there were some unexpected issues due to the age of the door and the treatment it had suffered at my hands.
With the wheels installed, Marco went to work with cleaning and degreasing fluids and a lot of paper towels making sure the door stiles and rails and the tracks and frame were perfectly clean.
He placed the door in the frame, didn't quite like what he saw, pulled the door out, made some adjusments, re-installed it, adjusted the wheel height, and the frame mounted door lock, and that was it.
What had been taking two hands to slide, now took a single finger.
My wife, a visiting neighbor, and I, gave him a standing ovation.
So, I figure, let me ask about him about taking a look at some of the 36 year old jalouise windows that had various problems.
The short version goes like this:  The slider he repaired took 45 minutes. The windows, which he had no idea he would be looking at , consumed 2 hours. He fixed one, told me how to fix one, gave me a couple parts, and made some suggestions.
I know time is money, and I finally said he'd spent enough time and I'm sure he had other appointments. I thanked him for his time and efforts and insisted he had done more than enough.
 Marco Pellim is not someone to leave a job unless it's 100% done. The slider was absolutely perfect, better than I thought possible. The windows, which I had only wanted him to look at, and tell me if they could be fixed, so I could make another appointment had caught his attention. Being the kind of guy who puts goodwill ahead of money he was nice enough to check the windows and then couldn't resist trying to help.
The topper was when I asked him if he preferred credit card or check. When he said a check would be fine, I asked how much to make it out for, and he said, "A hundred and fifty; that's what I quoted you."
"What about the work on the windows?" I asked.
"I didn't fix the problems, so there's no charge for that."
So I wrote the check for $200 and handed it to him.
He looked at it and went to hand it back, but I was faster and wouldn't let him get close enough.
 
Marco went way above what he contracted for. He's infinitely knowledgeable in the ways of patio door repair, replacement and adjustment. Has a wealth of knowledge about related things like window repair and impact  window replacement.

Marco repaired my sliding glass door and screen with such professionalism, courtesy and cleanliness that I was totally shocked and very grateful.  The door was repaired without any mishaps.  Marco was considerate of the fact the door was open as this would affect the A/C.  He cleaned the tracks with old fashioned meticulous care and when he was done there wasn't any evidence of his presence on the property.  I would truly, highly recommend this company.

Had a sliding glass door that I could only open with two hands on the door and a foot against the wall for leverage.  Marco repaired the door as promised and now I can open with one finger.  He was on time, very courteous and did a great job.
