I deeply regret to share my unfortunate experience with Joaquin, an architect recommended by my General Contractor. Despite initial promise, Joaquin's conduct throughout our engagement was profoundly unprofessional and unethical. Upon his visit to my apartment, Joaquin neglected to take accurate measurements, opting instead to rely on pre-existing online floorplans and pictures. This oversight led to the creation of erroneous plans, which he submitted for permit approval without proper verification. When I discovered the discrepancies, I attempted to communicate with Joaquin, but he abruptly ceased all correspondence after receiving full payment. For three months, my attempts to reach him went unanswered. Finally, Joaquin responded with a curt email, citing his busy schedule and refusal to adjust the plans. Faced with no other option, I engaged a new architect to rectify the situation. Adding insult to injury, Joaquin denied my request for the original AutoCAD files. His lack of transparency and professionalism is deeply concerning. In light of this experience, I strongly advise against hiring Joaquin for any architectural services. His behavior falls far short of industry standards, and I caution others to avoid similar disappointment.

Horrible, avoid at all costs. People will warn you that construction is stressful but this architect makes it much more difficult. He is arrogant and unwilling to design the plans for your needs. The entire office is extremely unresponsive and will leave the country without any prior notice leaving your project delayed and providing no compensation or sympathy for it. He is unprofessional - he yelled shut up at a 6 month pregnant woman because he did not agree with her concerns. Also, he completed the plans incorrectly and according to the wrong code which led to delays, additional fees and a significant amount of my time driving to and from the county to submit paperwork. Even after this was brought to his attention, he did not compensate us or provide any condolences for his errors but decided to claim no-fault. By far the worst part about construction is working with people that are not qualified and he is not.

"THIS PERSON HAS OPENED A COMPLAINT PROCESS THOUGHT HOME ADVISOR THIRD PARTY. I HAVE THE RESOLUTION IN FAVOR DEMONSTRATING THAT IT IS A FALSE REVIEW. HOME ADVISOR KEEPS THE COMMENT OPEN. WHERE ARE THE RIGHT OF THE PROFESSIONALS WORKING FOR ITS CLIENTS? PLEASE ASK ME FOR THE RESOLUTION IF ANYONE DOUBTS MY PROFESSIONALISM AND YOU WILL SEE HOW PEOPLE SPAM THE SYSTEM. This person contracts me two years ago, she has the permit to build the house approved and now she has issues with the General Contractor because it is not following the plans approved by her. The extra cost that she has is because trusted in the General Contractor instead the architect that I tried to help her many times. The answer from her is publishing false comments and false reviews forcing me to sign illegal changes that go against her. As I explain to her that I cannot sign these changes, but the answer is attached to me and my reputation. The proof is the real clients done with their comments about my services rated below. The bad comments arrive unfortunately from people that try to do illegal constructions forcing sign and seal illegal changes that will never be approved. I can not believe seeing racism comments for being from another country."

I hire this company on march for a deck and pool project. Toke them 3 months to get the drawings and was not what i wanted. Its been over 5 month and i still do not have the drawings.

"Thank you for the effort evaluating my company and the effort done for you. After your approval plans and delivered signed and sealed plans you miss the last payment. Even though you requested more changes that I did without extra cost not having paid the work done, months ago. As I recommended you I am not to do an illegal project not meeting the codes and regulations as you requested being compromise my professionalism. This is a very professional company. I would definitely hire this firm again for my architectural needs. The owner is a talented young man. He listens to the customer and takes the time to clearly explain what is involved in the job and to understand what to expect in terms of price, end product and timeframe for delivery. In addition, he is very personable and a pleasure to deal with. We were very satisfied with the services received from this company. Truly 5 star!
