Peter responded very quickly to my phone message. We set up a time for the next morning for him to give me an estimate of the work. He showed up a few minutes early for our 9:00 am meeting and brought his partner and their equipment so that if I accepted their proposal, they could do the work right away. Their proposal was very reasonable to say the least and upon my acceptance, they got straight to work, clearing away the patio furniture and connecting their equipment. Their equipment was very professional and looked to be very well maintained. It included a type of pressure cleaner I've never seen before -- a kind of circular gizmo that allowed them to cover large areas very quickly with results that were cleaner and more even than with conventional pressure cleaners. When they were done, the sidewalks and patio looked better than they have in years. They cleaned up after themselves and put everything back where it belonged. 
I'm very happy with these guys and intend to recommend their services to everyone in the neighborhood.
