A contract was written and we provided the deposit (July 17, 2012). Permit for the job was obtained by the company (August 9, 2012)and another 25% was due and paid. Permit was wrong regarding materials and had to be revised. Revised permit was issued October19, 2012, after numerous calls regarding status of the contracted job. Since then nothing has been done except the permit expiring on Feburary 5, 2013. Constantly calling and emailing Zimbelmann and given song and a dance everytime. Last contact with Zimbelmann was April 29, 2013, regarding refunding money. He said he would call back next day, Tuesday, April 30, 2013. Haven't heard from him since. The only thing that we have is a building permit for a fence that is currently expired.
The Better Business Bureau now rates him "F", the company web site no longer exists, and the office number is disconnected.
We are now pursuing whatever means necessary to solve this problem.
