Showed up for a quote after 4 weeks of calling to understand if they could take on a project of this nature (chimney replacement/repair) and to finally send someone out.  I had sent pictures of the chimney and fireplace and called no less than 10 times to finally get someone to follow up.   The representative did show up on time and immediately diagnosed the issue (the chimney was rotted... duh, that's what I had been calling about).   He then estimated a rough quote and said he'd get me a detailed response in a couple of days.   After 6 weeks of me following up weekly, nothing, finally during week 7 they sent a quote and a bill for $130 for the pleasure of this poor showing of customer service.

I called them and he came out. They said that they would do an inspection and then if necessary, do a cleaning. the guy came and he looked up the chimney and he said that it didn't need to be cleaned but they stilled charged me the $100 to do the inspection. You could see that may be it doesn't have a lot of stuff because it hasn't been used for years but, there was a lot of dirt. He kind of grudgingly agreed that he would do the cleaning but then, I changed my mind because I was afraid to send him up on the roof. I wasn't too happy with the whole thing. It took only five minutes. I asked him to send me a letter certifying that there was no hazard in using the fire place without cleaning it and he did that. If you call and ask for a cleaning, they say that they are going to do an inspection and then if necessary do a cleaning. I that that it should be separate because it is almost like a conflict of interests. It is in their best interest to say that you don't need it. Maybe I didn't need it but I don't think that they should charge $100 to come and look at it to tell me that I didn't need it. It was $75 for the inspection and then if they do the cleaning $100. They only make another $25 if they actually do the work. I think that they should charge less for the inspection. I didn't have a good feeling about it afterwards.

They were fantastic. The work they did was excellent.

They do everything that they can when they come. I would recommend them to anyone. They also install gas fireplaces as well.

Very bad customer relations. Company does not follow through with resolving customer problems or complaints. The management of this company has absolutely no idea of customer service. When we had a problem, the personnel at the store were unprofessional and would do nothing to help. We finally contacted the manufacturer of the gas grill for assistance. The personnel, including a store owner, were not only not helpful but were accusatory towards us, the customers. They DO NOT provide good customer service.
