Description of Work: Robert is very experienced and helped us avoid problems. He communicates very well and was easy to work with. He called us so we always knew when he was going to work and what he was going to do. We'd definitely use him for work in the future.

+ 1 moreI felt confident in the expertise of Mr. Gonzalez and was not disappointed.. He is a person who will go out of his was to make sure all is done properly. I was and remain confident in his ability but more importantly, his trustworthiness. I continue to call upon him for minor jobs and he is interested in making sure my needs are taken care of promptly. I have recommended him to a neighbor who needed kitchen and bathrooms remolded. She remarks that she wishes she had more work for him to do just to have him come back.
Description of Work: My condo unit had major damage due to a fire in the building requiring thousands of gallons of water from the Fire Department to extinguish it. I need replacement of floors, dry wall ands ceilings, painting, kitchen cabinets, appliances, electrical repairs just to start. Friends recommended DVG and mr. Gonzalez came in, advised me, and calmed me for I could trust this person to do the very best for me. My building was shut down for weeks as safety procedures could be put in place. Despite the many hurdles the work was done to my great satisfaction and I was finally able to move back.

+ -1 morePunctual, honest, neat, complete All work was explained clearly, estimated in writing, variations were discussed and approved or not So honest Robert has the keys to the house to do work while we may be away; nothing was ever missing or disturbed Greatest care was taken to minimize dust, dirt, debris in the house Removal of refuse was arranged and conducted efficiently Have used DVG and Robert Gonzalez for 15 years ---- since 2002 !!!!! Have consulted with DVG before any work even no work was done DVG's recommendations and its subcontractors (if any) have all been A+
Description of Work: We have had major remodeling: 3 bathrooms: plumbing, cabinets, countertops, lighting, walk-in closet remodeling A variety of electrical work: lights, sockets, wiring, installation, repair We have had tile work in the bathrooms and odd tile repair jobs on older tile We have had various carpentry jobs Lately: had to cover a hole from earlier plumbing work in the kitchen due to leaking old lead pipe; needed a custom cut facia cover because the exterior cement block of the house was covered The replacement matched extremely well Took advantage of DVG's work and had a list of handyman odd jobs done at the same time When ever there is home construction, etc. to be done, we use DVG
