Doctor Gates and Mister Access LLC.

Not so good. Contracted them February 2016, the cost was $ 3757 which I paid 50% start/50% at completion. Installation was completed end of February, gates worked fine but immediately noticed they did not have an auto-stop safety feature when gate closed on me. Additional cost to install safety stop$ 406, paid up front, installed March 2016. Within 2 weeks motor on left (view from house) stopped working on a weekend. Called and left message, they responded and said that it was probably a fuse, that I could wait for monday and unscrew chain or replace fuse myself, which they would guide me, I chose replacing fuse. I was not informed when givent the choice that opening the box myself could void the warranty. Anyway, fuse replaced, gate worked for a couple weeks, then blew again late at night after long work day. Sent them an angry text about motor not working again, which they answered by saying that it was probably my fault and that I had voided the warranty but they would come out anyway during the next few days. They showed up and said that unit had been wired wrong, fixed wiring, changed fuse and motor ok for a couple weeks (April). Then I come home and gate (same motor) is opening and slamming shut in a cycle over and over again. Finally get them to stop using the opener. I have no idea how it started or why it stopped. Notified them and they came out, replaced control board, end of April. May 15, motor stopped working again, they came out changed sensitivity, replaced fuse and said next time would contact manufacturer and swap out. During this time the gate openers were are also a problem as they were too sensitive. They replaced 2, no charge, i offered to pay. June 20 I requested to buy 2 additional openers, to send me invoice as one was not working. They have repeatedly said they're ordering, sending out etc, last 2 weeks haven't responded to text.. July 25th notified by text motor stopped working again, they text they'd be out on wed 27th and never showed up or answered text or calls since then.
