LUX HURRICANE SHUTTERS

LUX Hurricane Shutters recently replaced all the windows in my apartment complex, and the difference is amazing! The new windows completely transformed the look of the building, it feels so much more modern and bright. Great quality and professional work!

We had tried reaching out to multiple shutter companies to repair an older-model, large, motorized hurricane shutter stuck in the closed position on a ground-floor bedroom window. The room was dark and confined with the shutter down, and we did not hear back from anyone who could fix it. Luckily, a neighbor recommended Lux, and they were clearly the best choice. It was a complex repair requiring Lux to order parts and make two trips over a weekend to complete the work. We were able to text pictures to receive a detailed estimate. They stayed on budget. Their crew, led by Daniel, and the office rep, Sarah, were so responsive, professional, friendly, and totally Covid-compliant. We were so happy to see the sun when they fixed the shutter. We will use them again.

DG Lux thoroughly cleaned and lubricated our rather old hurricane shutters. Daniel advised us that if regularly maintained (which we will do with DG Lux), these shutters will last a long time and we don't need new ones. Did all work from outside the house, which we appreciated. Daniel and Zara were easy to talk to and deal with.

Daniel and his team were absolutely professional and knowledgeable. They performed the work with haste and care. He was friendly and explained everything and worked a long hot day without complaint. The cost for these services was excellent and quality first rate. Few companies service existing shutters, so I was very thankful to Lux and their team.

Overall, the project went well. We had to get approval from our HOA. Then, after arriving to install the shutters, it was discovered that 2 sets of shutter panels were off spec (too short). This only delayed the project for a few days. The installer was very professional and made sure we understood how to open and close the shutters. He even gave me a spare can of aluminum lubricant with explanations how to use it and how to care for the shutters. The only downside to me was the price, but it was within a normal range for these. I would use this company again and I may do so next year.
