Description of Work: They gave us an estimate and after many many many phone calls and emails never did the job

Description of Work: Company was contacted to provide an estimate to for the repair/replacement of Facia. The name of this company was initially referred by a family member an further reviewed on Angie's list. Initial conversation with representative Gonzalo Mendoza was him representing that the job would be very expensive and was more interested in doing a complete roof job as he asked if my roof has leaks. When I confirmed that my roof did not have any leaks, he advised me that he would come and take a look at the roof and scheduled an appointment a week later. The day of the appointment, Mr. Mendoza never showed up. When I contacted him to inquire on our appointment, he advised that he totally forgot. I advised that I would have to call him back to reschedule as I was going out of town and my home was going to be tented for termites. Once this was complete, I reached out to Mr. Mendoza one time via text and one via phone message. Mr. Mendoza finally called me back and rescheduled the appointment. When he came out to do the inspection for the estimate, he proceeded to use a hammer to test the Fascia board around the house for damage/rot to the board. This obviously created further damage to the fascia board in various areas. Note, other company estimators did not do this and were able to identify which boards needed to be replaced. He took his measurements of the damaged board and advised that he would provide th estimate within a few days. A week passed and the estimate was not received. Once again I reached out to Mr. Mendoza to inquire on the estimate for the work. After sending a text and leaving a voice message with no response, on my third attempt to reach Mr. Mendoza, he was very apologetic that he had not provided the estimate as of yet but that he would have it completed and sent to me by the end of the day ( a Friday). He further guaranteed that he would make sure that it would completed by the date promise by even swearing on his children that it would be completed (not that this was necessary). Another week passed and the estimate never arrived. Once again I reached out via telephone to Mr. Mendoza to advise him that his estimate was no longer needed due to his lack of attentionand professionalism to this request ( from the beginning) which was a clear indication that he ( on behalf of his employer) was not interested in this job. He proceeded to explain that it was not a matter of not having interest but that he had a lot of other estimates and jobs that needed to be completed. I mentioned to him that I found it hard to believe that it takes more than two weeks to provide and estimate. What upsets me about this entire situation is the additional damage that Mr. Mendoza caused to the fascia board that other companies did not have the need to do when providing an estimate. I reached out to four other companies for estimates, and none of them needed to do what Mr. Mendoza did tonthevfascia board to confirm what was good or bad board for an estimate. Mr. Mendoza's attention and professionalism was deplorable and I would never recommend him or his company to my worst enemy. This has been a learning lesson that if the interest and attention is not there from the onset, you need to move on. Thank you for inquiring on my results with this company.

Description of Work: This Experience was Much better than I ever expected. |The last Complete new roof (Concrete Tile )leaked after 1 year and Circle L roofing would not come back to fix it. I suffered this for 10 years until they left the State. From this Very bad Experience it was wonderful to deal with an Honest and diligent Company who really tries very hard to get everything right. |I would have no hesitation of recommending Del Sol Roofing ( and I already have )
