My pool pump motor failed, and instead of buying another motor as I had the previous time, I decided to check De Ruiter's price for a re-build. I had an unpleasant experience with an extremely gruff employee there over 10 years ago, and had avoided the place for that reason, but I figured that man was probably gone.
The employees were friendly and helpful on the phone and in person. I first brought in my motor by itself, but the technician said that they could do more of the reassembly if I brought the part of the pool pump that attaches directly to the motor. Since I had more confidence in their skills than mine, I returned with the other parts. It was finished in a couple of days, was easy to reassemble myself, and works perfectly. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again.
