"In my thirty years as an IT professional, my experience with Ms. Ruth was about the worst. My tech, Edwin, is a very kind and knowledgeable tech. We have serviced this client in the past, twice, without any issue. I spoke with her while my tech was at her home, and remained calm while I listened to her attack my company and my tech. Our total charge was $128.00. My tech had done more than we agreed to do, and she expressed nothing being incomplete or improperly done. Edwin formatted and installed a new operating system, resolved the mail issue we appeared to do as well. Upon completion of work taking more than an hour to do, we requested our fee, $39 drive time plus $89 labor, as is advertised on our website, as she had paid before, as was quoted her. She refused to pay, stated she could have done this work herself, and forced my tech to leave without payment. I would have been happy to provide her this service for free, especially considering it appeared she was simply having a bad day, and that the small charge is not worth arguing to collect. However, considering how terribly she has spoken to me, treated myself, and the dishonesty of which she has spoken to me and of me, I have demanded our payment in thirty days. If she does not pay, as I have promised her, I will file in court for collection. Furthermore, unless this client contacts the site and retracts the untruthful statement made - that I have taken advantage of her, I will be filing a claim against her in court regardless of payment or not. Whatever the outcome of that is, I will update my comment here to notify anyone of interest of the outcome. Dan Mazur. Owner 1/16/24 Just finished session with the courts.
