Our experience was totally consistent with other reviewers here. Luis is nice when he wants your money to start the job. After that, good luck to you. He is not cheap, but results are as if you contracted with unlicensed scam artists.
You will be much better off hiring day laborers from outside Home Depot than going with his people. At least with the day laborers, you get what you pay for. With Complexo, you get poor quality at an expensive price.
There are many, many upcharges for things you thought were in the contract: "Oh, you mean you wanted hinges on your kitchen cabinet doors? That will be another $1000 above the quote"
He promises to supervise his people (who are totally unskilled). Does not happen.
Only time he shows up on site is when he thinks he's due an installment payment.
We do not recommend Complexo on any level. Very poor quality at a high price. We should sue this idiot, and we still may.
We are now paying THOUSANDS of dollars to fix things his people did that weren't up to code. Horrible experience, and we've renovated several houses in the past, so we are not new to this. Luis and Complexo are completely consistent with the "horror stories" you hear about South Florida contractors: who knows how many new Florida residents this guy has taken advantage of.

We hired Complexo after we met with Luis to give us an estimate of the work. We went to his showroom, chose the cabinets, picked out our granite and discussed all details. The contract was signed, deposit paid, and we were good to go. He knew we had a tight deadline to finish the job and he said he would make it happen. Then the work began. No license, no english speakers on site, mis-measured woodwork, poorly and sloppily-installed grout, glue unable to be removed from the granite countertops. On several occasions Luis came to us with "unforseen expenses". The decent price we started out with initially would go up day after day. His game is that once your kitchen is demolished and a fraction of your custom cabinets are installed, you won't have a choice but to keep paying for these "unforseen expenses" in order to finish the job. He even had the nerve to adjust our contract without our signature! He and his assistant acted like that was a completely normal thing to do. How unethical. After about the third "extra" expense, we decided that we would rather go without some of the cabinets, all of the tiling, plumbing, appliance installation (losing a great deal of money on our end) in order to not have this person step foot in our home again. We ended up having to pay double by hiring others for the job that was part of Complexo's job, but in the end we just could not continue with this crook. The clincher is he is still trying to get the money that WE owe HIM (?!?) For what?? He actually made money for not having to pay out for all the other work that was never completed but that was in our contract. Plain and Simple- this company is completely unprofessional and should be ashamed. Hopefully others will read this and reconsider before signing with Complexo.

THIS COMPANY WAS THE MOST UNPROFESSIONAL CIRCUS I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH.THE OWNER USES UNLICENSED WORKERS,WHO DONT SPEAK A LICK IF ENGLISH,AND DON'T KNOW THEIR A** FROM THEIR ELBOWS. DAY ONE- KITCHEN WAS GUTTED,AND THEY DROPPED A CABINET ON MY MOTHER'S HEAD -THEY REMOVED MY SINK,I GOT A HUGE LEAK, DAY 2-WORKERS CAME IN TO INSTALL CABINETS,THEY DID THE INSTALLATION COMPLETELY WRONG,AND LUIS(THE OWNER OF THE COMPANY) SAID HE WOULD BE HERE TO SUPERVISE,BUT THAT WAS NOT THE CASE. DAY 3- HE HAD TO HIRE NEW INSTALLERS,AT LEAST THESE GUYS KNEW WHAT THEY WERE DOING.HOWEVER..THE MEASUREMENTS FOR THE CABINETS ABOVE THE MICROWAVE WERE WRONG,SO WHEN THE MICROWAVE WAS INSTALLED,IT WAS ABOUT 7 INCHES HIGHER THAN IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN. THEY HAD TO COME BACK,AND I HAD TO PAY FOR A FILLER TO BE PUT IN BETWEEN THE CABINET,AND THE MICROWAVE. DAY3-THE FRAME AROUND THE FRIDGE WAS INSTALLED,AND THE WOOD HAD A COMPLETELY DIFFERENT FINISH FROM THE REST OF THE KITCHEN(WE THOUGHT WE WERE GETTING THE SAME FINISH AS THE CABINET DOORS) THE FRAME WAS HIDEOUS,AND HE WANTED US TO PAY FOR THAT AS WELL! DAY 4-KITCHEN WAS ALMOST FINISHED,WE NOTICED A HUGE SCRATCH ON THE PANRTY DOOR.HE PROCEEDED TO BLAME IT ON US. I ASKED HIM TO PLEASE GET US A NEW DOOR DAY5-GRANITE WAS INSTALLED (AGAIN NO ONE SPOKE ENGLISH,HAD A LICENSE,OR WAS INSURED) THE SEAMS ARE NOT WELL FINISHED,AND THERE IS STILL GLUE ALL OVER THE GRANITE,WHICH WE CANNOT REMOVE LUIS TOOK THE PLUMBING JOB INTO HIS OWN HANDS.IT WAS A COMPLETE NIGHTMARE,I HAD TO HIRE A NEW PLUMBER TO FIX THE LEAKS.( HE SAYS HE'S A PLUMBER AND ELECTRICIAN,BUT I NEVER DID SEE A LICENSE) IN THE MIDDLE OF THIS MADNESS,I ACCIDENTALLY GAVE HIM A CHECK FROM THE WRONG ACCOUNT.HE CAME OVER THE NEXT DAY TO PICK UP THE NEW CHECK AND GOT INTO A HUGE ARGUMENT WITH MY MOTHER.SHE WAS VERY UPSET OVER THE TERRIBLE PLUMBING JOB,AND SHE LET HIM HAVE IT.THAT SHOULD NOT HAVE HAPPENNED,BUT I WAS NOT HOME.I DID OFFER TO PAY HIM WITH MY DEBIT CARD OVER THE PHONE RIGHT AWAY. THIS WAS NOT THE FIRST TIME WE HAD AN ISSUE WITH A CHECK.HE INITIALLY ASKED FOR A $5,600 DEPOSIT,AND I RELUCTANTLY GAVE IT TO HIM.LATER THAT NIGHT I PUT A STOP PAYMENT ON THAT CHECK,SO WE COULD RE-NEGOTIATE THE DEPOSIT,WHICH WE DID. ONCE EVERYTHING WAS FINISHED,WEEKS LATER,I STILL DID NOT HAVE MY PANTRY DOOR.I CALLED HIM NUMEROUS TIMES,ONLY TO GET HIS VOICEMAIL.HE CALLED A WEEK LATER,AND SAID HE WAS OUT OF TOWN .REALLY? REALLY? SO WHO IS RUNNING YOUR BUSINESS IN THE MEAN TIME?? HE SAID HE WAS HAVING SOMEONE DROP OFF THE DOOR THAT DAY. NO ONE EVER SHOWED UP THE NEXT DAY,THE SAME THING! HE DID NOT SHOW UP,BECAUSE I DID NOT HAVE A CHECK FOR HIM FOR FINAL PAYMENT. FINAL PAYMENT FOR WHAT EXACTLY?? A BAD PLUMBING JOB WHICH HE CHARGED $200 FOR,A FILLER FOR HIS MIS-MEASUREMENTS,A FRAME FOR THE FRIDGE WHICH WAS ABSOLUTELY HIDEOUS! I ALREADY PAID HIM $8,500.ALL I WANTED WAS MY DOOR(WHICH WAS PAID FOR) TO SAY THE LEAST,DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY.THE WORKMANSHIP IS POOR,HE IS COMPLETELY UNPROFESSIONAL.HE ACCUSED ME OF TRYING TO ROB HIM! AFTER I PAID HIM ALL $8,500 THE INSTALLERS ARE A BUNCH OF INCOMPETENT IDIOTS
