What set out to be a very nice experience in the beginning, was completely abolished by the lack of attentiveness, responsibility and professionalism of Robert. All we required was a tree removal and stump grind. We should have paid attention to the lack of communication in the very beginning. However, Robert promised the world and didn't deliver. We had to chase him down for weeks. Then, when the job was supposedly finish he had to come back to stump grind more. In addition, a piece of rock cracked my daughters bedroom window. He said he would fix it but 2 months later and the window is still cracked. We tried to go through his liability insurance only to find out it has been expired since December!!! We've called both number we have for him and no response!!! So disappointed!!!!

Robert and his crew were great. They were on time and did a beautiful job including the cleanup. Robert has a lot of helpful ideas and it was a pleasure doing business with his company.  I wish we had more Robert's to do business with in our community. You can't go wrong with Century Tree Service.

This is the 2nd time I have used Century Tree Service and it won't be the last.  Robert called me back promptly and we set an appointment.  He arrived with a team of guys that got right to work.  They did a fantastic job, to my specifications, and cleaned everything up beautifully!  I am so impressed.  I have referred him to all my friends and family in the past and will reiterate that referral again.

We are very pleased. He was very prompt, gave a great price and is very reasonable.

I've used them before. He is very fair priced. He has an arborist that knows how to trim everything back and just does a great job.

Wow is all I can say. We had a huge tree removed including a huge stump and the job was done the next day, every thing was clean and beautiful when I got home from work. All the cuttings were gone and the yard was clean and beautiful. A great experience ..will definitely use Robert and his company again

Robert was extremely professional and reliable. We were happy not only with his work but also his friendliness. The work was very well done and efficient. In one day everything was gone/trimmed and cleared. I WILL use him again for sure.

all of his work before I paid him.

Robert, the owner answered the phone and said he could meet me at my house within an hour.  We met, he surveyed the property and the work that needed to be done and gave me a price.  He said he would provide a written price via email that night, which he did.  We settled on a date and time and his crew arrived as planned.  While there, it became clear that I needed to remove another very large tree that was against my house.  I texted Robert and he called me immediately and offered to do it for a reasonable price.  Most try to take advantage of the situation and gouge you for a "change order" or additional on demand work, but Robert didn't and it was appreciated and refreshing.  His crew finished the job (it was a big job and took all day), cleaned up after themselves and left my property (front and back) looking great.  Once construction is done on our home, there is still quite of bit of clearing/landscape work to be done and I will be calling Century Tree Service back.

Robert Sabatino showed up on time with his crew of three and was onsite the whole time. Both he and his crew were knowledgeable in regards to the work.
The work was done efficiently and with special attention to protecting the other trees and plants in the yard. He originally gave me the quote over the phone (I was travelling and spoke to him while he was in my yard). I thought for the amount of work, the price was a great deal. The clean-up was good and he inspected the work behind each of his workers. Throughout, he elicited feedback from me to ensure I was happy with the work product. I was delighted with the job and will use him again.

I found Century Tree Service through Angie's List.  When I first spoke with Robert, the owner, over the phone, I felt confident that he was experienced and knew what he was doing. My main concern was my beloved mango tree that was long overdue for attention.
Robert, came out and explained to me exactly what the issues were with the tree, what needed to be done and why, and how he was going to do it.  He wanted to make sure that the mango tree would be fertilized, and in order to save me money, he suggested that I buy the fertilizer, he would apply it without charge. Our agreed upon price was extremely fair and reasonable. He saw additional things that needed to be done, and said that  he would include it in his already reasonable price.
    Robert arrived the day of work along with his crew to review with them exactly what needed to be done. He came back later to make sure that everything was being done and to my satisfaction and also to fertilize the mango tree himself. From the beginning I was very impressed with Robert. He is easy to work with and communicate with and is extremely professional, knowledgeable, competent, straight forward and honest. I definitely would use Century Tree Service again and I highly recommend them.

We contacted Robert at Century Tree Service who promptly made an appointment to come to our house to provide a quote based on the work we wanted done.  Robert showed up on time and quoted a VERY reasonable price.  He was extremely knowledgeable and we felt comfortable in accepting his quote and scheduled the work to be done.  Robert and his crew showed up on the day we had scheduled and finished all the work to our complete satisfaction.  Our yard was cleaned up and all branches and tree debris removed as promised. The price that was quoted was exactly the price we paid - I would higly recommend Century Tree Service and would not hesitate calling Robert for any future tree service needs!

Robert returned my call and also came out the same day to survey my property.  Robert, a certified Arborist, explained to me what his crew would do to the trees as-well-as the 3 root systems, and I agreed to hire him.
On the agreed upon day, Robert personally arrived with his crew and they went about taking care of the 7 trees and 3 root systems, plus he ground 3 stumps that had been in place for several years, all at no additional cost!
I observed everything that his crew did, and I would say that they were the most professional that I had ever hired--and the most reasonably priced for the work that was performed.

Good: Robert came the same day I called him to give me a verbal estimate for tree work at my house and my parent's house.  He emailed me a written estimate and the date he would perform the work.  I rained on the day we had agreed to do the work and the following three days.  He called each day to let me know they wouldn't be working and offered to perform the work on Sunday as it was the first dry day. His workers are fast, friendly and efficient.  Robert is a very professional and knowledgeable young man. 

Bad: I walked him through the properties and advised what I wanted him to include in the estimate.  After the walk-thru he gave me a verbal price. When he emailed the estimate it was missing half the scope we agreed on. When I called him he said not to worry that he would do everything anyway.  When his crew arrived they did only the work in the written estimate.  I don't think he intentionally cheated me, but he didn't write anything down and I am sure he just forgot to include it in the written estimate.  I advise that you make sure the written estimate matches the work you agree on with him.

A minor issue was that the workers dropped palm fronds into my herb and vegetable garden.  They broke my tomato plants.  I figured that was just a hazard of palm trimming, but a friend used a service that took special care to prevent damage to the understory plantings in her yard.

Robert Sabatino from Century Tree Service was one of four tree services from which our Park Layne Towers condominium took estimates. Robert's bid was between 30-40% LOWER than all the others. He was extraordinarily friendly and approachable. When he gave us an oral bid, it was so low that we asked him to go home, think it over, and FAX us his "official" bid. That bid came in that evening and it was EXACTLY the same!
     He and his crew of four men arrived two days later to begin the two-day project. It rained off and on BOTH days but his men kept working through most of that rain to complete the job on schedule. As their worked proceded the Board of Directors requested that other tree trimmings and/or removals be done. We expected the cost to rise precipitously. It did not. For the extra 3-4 hours of additional work the cost went up only $250. When we found still more work, Robert said he would not charge for that additional work and for us to consider it a gesture of kindness in the hope we'd remember him on any future projects we might have.
     Sadly, in Florida, one expects to get systematically "ripped off". This is the only experience I (as the Board member in charge of overseeing this project) has ever had where I actually felt we didn't pay enough!!! In other words, we would not even consider using anyone other than Century Tree Service!
     PLUS, the job was VERY well done and no mess left behind.

Very good service and at a reasonable price.

They have an arborist who explains how to trim the trees and why they are doing everything that they do throughout the service. They are very prompt and courteous when they come out. They always make sure to clean up after themselves. They have a very good price.
