Building Inspection Services (BIS)

I would highly recommend BIS - I used them for my commercial building inspection during due diligence and they did not disappoint. First of all, I needed five different aspects inspected (eg roof, plumbing, mold, structure, etc) and their estimate was cheaper for all of that than for firms quoting me just structural inspection. Their work and thoroughness were second to none. They worked quickly. And possibly most importantly, when trouble arose and I needed help after they had been paid and the report completed, they still took the time to help me in any way they could. I'm a professional commercial real estate investor and I can tell you that BIS is second to none in performance, price, and customer service. I'll be using them for a long time to come.

We had a little miscommunicaiton in the beginning, but Rick and his team made me feel that they worked with me to make sure that I was content with their services. Had I used them from the beginning, I would have avoided a lot of problems with the purchase of my first home. Rick is undoubtedly an expert in his field and he will be my first phone call the next time I am in the market for a new home.

This was the most comprehensive inspection I have seen to date.  I recently had an inspection at a different house and used another  company with whom I was very disappointed in.  I then turned to Angies List to find a recommendation and decided to go with this company based on a report of their's I had seen from another homeowner.  The inspector spent well over 4 hours at the 1900 square foot house and used various tools and machinery and equipment to test the temperatures and moisture levels around the house.  He methodically checked each and every system throughout and made excellent recommendations.  He was even very helpful with suggestions that went above and beyond the scope of his responsibilities and told us that we could call him, any time, day or night (even 5 years down the road) with any further questions.  As we were relocating from the Northeast and aren't familiar with the different hurricane damage prevention methods, the inspector was very patient and answered all of our questions regarding the window shutters, doors and roofing.   The inspector was extremely  helpful, courteous and professional.  I would highly recommend this company for your next home inspection.

The inspector was on time, and took his time to go over the premises. He went to every room at least twice. I'm very satisfy with the service.
