They have done a lot of work for us. They do such good work that when the house inspector came by, he commented on how great it was and asked us who did it! We will definitely be using them again.

Yesterday, I submitted the following review to Angie's List and other companies.  The review is based on my actual experience with Tim, the owner.  Last night, at approximately 11:48pm, the owner's wife called my cell phone and left an angry message.  I could hear the two of them arguing, and then she took over the call.  From what I could hear, Tim did not want this phone call/ message to occur.  Nevertheless, this occurence confirms unprofessional conduct.  What is most disturbing, is that I have never had contact with his wife, yet she now has access to my personal information and to my knowledge, she does not work for the company.  Ironic that no one could extend the courtesy of proper business communication beforehand, but when I post an accurate account of my experience, this warrants an angry response.  Honestly, I thought Tim was professional, otherwise I would have never hired him.  His actions proved me wrong.  Below please find the review I submitted yesterday:
 BEWARE!  Tim, the owner, DID NOT SHOW UP for a scheduled 2 day project, and did not have the courtesy to contact me ahead of time.  Also, Tim did not answer calls, texts, emails, or return voice messages over a 30 day period!
  
Tim had completed some work for me last year, and although there were a few minor issues, I was still willing to work with him since they were easily fixed. On March 30, he came by to discuss more work to be done and scheduled me for May 15th and 16th.  As I mentioned, he did not show up.  On May 16th, I called Tim from someone else's phone two times.  The first call was a bad connection...I was speaking and no response.  I waited a few minutes and tried again, and Tim did answer.  He says he is now doing contracting work only and his guys are "all tied up" and he would not be doing "handyman" work.  I replied that he should have had the courtesy to contact me ahead of time, and his response was "you are right".  My advice is to be careful, because if a better job comes along, he may leave you hanging too!
The work in May included bathroom ceiling replacement, fixing doors, replacing interior doors, painting, electrical work, and other items.  I also spoke with him about remodeling the kitchen in the summer.  So, this was not a minor project.  Regardless, in my opinion, anyone who ignores their customers, disregards their commitments and blatantly disappears is UNPROFESSIONAL!!!

to all my friends and everyone has been completely satisfied.

2 hours of handyman labor. Many heavy mirrors and art pieces hung. Tim and his partner were professional, polite, clean and they made sure to get the job done correctly, quickly and to my specifications. I will absolutely call them again and refer them to my neighbors.

The Bourque Brothers, Paul and TIm, and their crew were punctual, polite, careful, and very professional. They keep the job site clean and tidy. The tasks involved passed all Coral Gables inspections with ease.  They delivered on their promises and exceeded our expectations. We would be pleased to use them again. In fact, we have already talked with them about remodeling our kitchen.

It was an excellent overall experience. They were honest and on time. They were detail oriented. They were clean and cleaned up before they left every day. They were very easy to work with. We our complainers, and they would fix little things we seen that needed to be fixed. They would come in and take care of what needed to be fixed. They didn't do the plumbing but hired out the work, and they were excellent too. They are carpenters but said they could not do the carpentry work, so they hired someone else. For them to meet their date, they would delegate other work that they might have well done and earned their money for, but they said no, the deadline was more important and brought in others to do the plumbing and make the cabinets. That was a lot of professionalism on their part, I felt, especially with the way things are today. They are a small company. They are not cheap but are worth it. We paid for what we got.

Urbanex was referred to us via a respected friend and we cant' say enough good things about this family owned construction company. Brothers Tim and Paul are honest, up front, craftsmen that earned our respect and admiration for their high quality work, punctuality and follow through. They absolutely delivered as promised, on schedule and more. Can truly say it has been a pleasure working with Urbanex and despite the 5 month project, we never felt uncomfortable or overwhelmed with the project. We were able to accommodate our family downstairs while Urbanex delivered on our dream remodeling project. We are now discussing and planning the second phase of remodeling, our first floor!
