BEST WINDOWS

I made the mistake of selecting this company because they came in with the lowest offer by quite a bit. It has ended up costing me thousands more because of the multiple mistakes I had to correct. First, he strongly urged me not to do work with permits, that it would be a waste of money and that all work would be done to code. At the time, I didn't know that it was absolutely necessary to get engineering report. One of the biggest mistakes I have ever made. Work was not even close to code. Not only did he select windows that despite being impact, were still not strong enough to meet miami dade code, his installation was shoddy - he used double bucking (putting 2 pieces of wood along window frame instead of 1), he installed over tile instead of directly to concrete, and he failed to observe basic egress rules in allowing for a window to open correctly to allow for escape if there is emergency. I became concerned about the work after observing installation over tile, and asked engineer for an opinion. He almost immediately noted multiple egregious errors, confirmed very quickly by other companies who came in later to give me estimates on correcting the problems. I am in process of redoing all of the work all of the work with permits. 6 out of 10 windows he chose are wrong and need to be replaced at the cost of thousands of dollars. There are other errors such as insufficient mull bars, but I think I am making my point. Frank, who is the owner, really sweet talked me and made alot of promises, and gave me a price that was ultimately too good to be true.

Awful. I waited at home two complete mornings for them to show up. Never came. (This was after several phone calls in which they said they would be there.)

They were supposed to be here by three but did not show up. I called and spoke to them, they said they were held up but would be out. They never showed up or called us back, so we waited all day for nothing.

I THOUGHT THIS COMPANY WAS VERY RELIABLE. THEY DID A GOOD SERVICE. ALSO, I THOUGHT THE EMPLOYEES WERE GOOD PEOPLE AND THEY DID A NICE JOB WITH THE WINDOWS AND DOORS.

I HAVE BEEN LIVING IN FLORIDA FOR FIFTY YEARS AND PRETTY MUCH KNOW WHICH COMPANIES TO USE AND WHICH ONES NOT TO USE. I LIKE THIS COMPANY THEY DO AN EXCELLENT JOB. I HAVE NEVER HAD ANY PROBLEMS WITH THEM.

THE SERVICE THEY PROVIDE WAS EXCELLENT. THEY TOOK THEIR TIME AND FIXED MY WINDOW RIGHT, NO HALF DONE WORK. THE COMPANY SHOWS A LOT OF PROFESSIONAL QUALITIES, LIKE THE WAY THEY HANDLE THEIR CUSTOMERS AND THEIR APPEARANCE.

BEST WINDOW IS A COMPANY THAT I HAVE USED BEFORE. THEY REPLACED A WINDOW AND THE FRAME LAST TIME AND THEY REPLACED A WINDOW THIS TIME. I WAS SATISFIED WITH THEIR SERVICE.

BEST WINDOWS IS A COMPANY THAT I HAD USED IN THE PAST AND AFTER THE HURRICANE I HIRED THEM AGAIN. THEY WERE SUPPOSED TO PUT HURRICANE PANELS ON MY WINDOWS IN 2 TO 3 MONTHS AND NINE MONTHS LATER IT STILL ISN'T DONE.
