Like most small electrical contracting companies, they’re really not set up to come immediately when you have a problem, it takes them several days. It’s hard for me to say for quality. I was actually very pleased overall, except he did drop the cover to the fixture and may have slightly chipped an inside part of the glass, but it doesn’t show on the outside. They were fine as far as keeping the appointment made.

It went great!!!  I called them yesterday morning and the owner told me someone would call me shortly, which did happen within 1 hour. Carlos the electrician called me and told me he would meet me in 10 minutes at the location.  He was there exactly when he said he would be and evaluated the issue.  He returned today at the time he said he would be and completed ALL the work listed above in 1 hour.  He was very professional, courteous and knowledgeable about his profession.  He had a wonderful disposition and I was VERY PLEASED with his work and him as an individual. I will DEFINITELY be calling Benson Electric for any of my electrical needs and will HIGHLY RECOMMEND them to anyone I know.  A+ from me!

Provider replied promptly to request for estimate and scheduling the work. Workers arrived promptly on sight prepared work area so as to keep it clean. The work took about 4 - 5 hours. Everything was tested and all lighting was in excellent working order. The workers cleaned the area and left everything in excellent condition. Work was done professionally and skillfully and fully met my approval. I would definitely hire them again and recommend them without reservation.

James was very meticulous in ensuring that my light fixtures were installed properly and were in working order.

Carlos specifically did a great job. I am thrilled.

They were good. We were very satisfied.

Pool pump wasn't turning on. I disassembled it and took pump into my pool store (twice) and each time it turned on and ran beautifully. So I thought the problem was in circuit panel or safety on/off switch. Benson  electrician Carlos, who has a great rep with customers (see other reviews), showed up and checked the panel and switch and determined both were ok, So he opened the back of the pump and figured out that the pos and neg wires were badly worn and were shorting out the motor. So he fixed that and I was back in business.
Then I asked him to look at a new LED light I wanted installed under a kitchen cabinet. He took out old one that wasn't working and remounted new LED light, It's great to have light in that corner of the kitchen again!
I was impressed enough that I asked for an estimate on installing new LED lights in the kitchen ceiling and installing 3 ceiling fans. Hope to get that tomorrow by email.
I was very pleased with the work done by Carlos and would call on Benson again. In fact, I got the rec for Benson from the pool store owner, who said he used the company at his own house. Turned out to be a great tip!

Required by the city.  Bensen designed and installed a system that passed inspection.

I have used them for many years. They are very good. They are capable of doing pretty much anything, large and small projects. They are prompt and professional. I would recommend them.

The electrician worked several hours to re-route the wiring (showed me the old, corroded wire he pulled out of the conduit), and installed new wires, housing, fixtures. The new wiring/switch is great, much more convenient, and now in waterproof housing for outdoors.

They were very good to work with. The prices were within range for this type of service. They were on-time, and I would hire them again.

The sent a technician the same day. He arrived on time and corrected the problems without trying to charge for things we did not need. The reception was very helpful in getting our appointment set up and understanding what we need. When the technician arrived he was prepared and already knew what our problems were. They were very easy to deal with.

This was disappointing. I had asked for a formal estimate on the job. They came out to the house, measured and looked over the job. But every time I called to try to get a formal estimate, I was put off, they said they were busy and would get to it. I will not be using this company for the job.

The mercury lights are not coming on in the night like they should be, the lights worked for a short amount time in the house, but they are flickering again. All three items that he worked on are still not working. I called them back and he said he didn't understand why things didn't work and it wasn't their fault, finally they agreed to send someone out. They called me yesterday to say that someone would be coming today and then this morning I get a call and they tell me that the work that they did two days ago is not under warranty and that I would be charged again. I would not recommend them!

All they had to do was push a button and they charged me $91. Otherwise they were friendly, courteous, and professional.

They were very good. They arrived on time and were professional. There was something that didn't end up needing fixed. He was honest.

When I first called I was told they were booked until the following week but if they got an opening sooner, they would contact me. They called 2 hours later to say they had someone available right away. The technician showed up about 20 minutes later and was pleasant and professional. He completed the work in about 1/2 hour.

Employee was punctual, helpful and professional. Will use them again.
