Furniture - Upholster
Unfortunately, our family entrusted ?Manny? with an Italian designer chair for reupholstery. On August 1, 2025, he came to pick up the chair after previously quoting my mom $500 for the job. When he arrived, he changed the price to $750, and after discussion, both sides agreed to $550 with the understanding that the amount had to be prepaid in cash.
He stated the work would take about three weeks. Since then, despite multiple calls and text messages, there has been no response and no updates. As of September 24, 2025, the chair and the money remain with him, and we have not received any communication. he has kept the money and the chair.
Based on our experience, I would strongly advise others not to give belongings or payments to this company.
