y. My son's older Ford F-150 was difficult to control so my son called me here in Arizona to help him find an honest, competent repair shop. The problem had developed and got much worse quickly. After reading outstanding reviews here on Angie's List, I called speaking to Phillip. He arranged for a town at a very reasonable cost and had the problem diagnosed later that day. His quote for doing the repairs, was very reasonable. The job was done right, the first time, and finished the next day.
As we all know, finding an honest and competent auto repair shop is very hard these days. Phillip's outfit is one of those shops that are hard to find these days. When my son picked up his truck he noticed even expensive foreign cars getting repairs. I heartily recommend Aventura Auto Specialists for repairs on any car.

Aventura Auto is a great neighborhood "find". They are a certified Volkswagen business and they charge substantially less than the VW dealers for routine work and special needs. They deliver service when they say they will and at the price quoted (or less!).

Their hours are flexible and they will accommodate your early, late or weekend drop-off or pick up. It's a clean shop, efficient and provide great service.

Very fair priced, goes above and beyond with their service. Is great about following on issues in the future. I would recommend to others.

My wife and I moved to the Aventura, FL area some months back, so this was the first time we have needed auto service since our move. I did a bit of research and found some good recommendations for Aventura Auto Specialist. As they advertise a specialty in BMWs (among other foreign makes), and they are convenient to where we live, I thought that I would give them a try.

I have taken meticulous care of this car since it new. It has over 192,000 miles now, so it is important to get in front of problems that can cause a breakdown or chain failures. For this one needs a trustworthy mechanic.

Besides performing the routine service (oil and oil filter, air filter, etc), Aventura Auto Specialist did a great job with the inspection, finding some belts needed replacing and that the air conditioning compressor bearings were starting to fail. I also had a small oil drip, which he identified as a leaky valve cover gasket.

Aventura Auto Specialist did a fantastic job with the repairs, even identifying and fixing an intermittent and terrifically annoying wiring problem at no additional charge!

Aventura Auto Specialist has a very reasonable hourly labor rate, and the bill for parts they supplied did not show any excessive markup.

All in all, my experience with Aventura Auto Specialist - and Phillipe specifically - gives me confidence that I have found the place where I will continue to have my cars serviced!
