The worst part is if you ever have any kind of service issue, it is extremely difficult to schedule an appointment. It is difficult to speak to somebody on phone. They people may come for the appointment or they may not come. It is difficult to deal with their customer service. Too many people trying to do too many things and nobody is doing anything. The best part is the service people that I have had, have been good. However, it is just difficult to make it happen with the company and it is not their fault. I am sure I  have to use them in future but I wouldn't want to.

The service goes down every eight weeks leaving me with no t.v., wifi or internet. I have to call the company to have it reset and it is very inconvenient.

I decided ATT costs way too much money to justify continuing their services.  They wanted me to guarantee a 2 year contract with them, but I cannot do this because I am unsure how long my business will be open.  On February 20, we signed papers to transfer two of my phone numbers from ATT to Advanced Cable.  On that day, Advanced Cable came into our home and hooked everything up for our internet and phone lines.  I called ATT to confirm all of this with ATT.  They told me the phone numbers were in "porting" and it would take about 24 hours to complete the porting process.  I called the following week and spoke to about 8 different people who now told me that it could take a week for the porting process to complete.  I have called on 3 additional occasions with no results.  Advanced Cable notified me that the phone numbers were ported and they had confirmation numbers of this.  I called yesterday morning and ATT confirmed porting for the 2 phone numbers I transferred.  A third phone line that I have has supposed to be cancelled, but I can pick up the phone and make a call with the phone line!  I was promised by ATT I would not receive any further bills and the phone line was disconnected.  I called them on a whim again today and was informed by a different rep that the phone was still connected and I was going to get a bill from ATT STILL!  I don't want ATT!  I have called to cancel their service a number of times!  I have more important things to deal with in my life than ATT!

I have been using them for the last 25 years and they do not have much competition in this area for wired phones.  They have horrible service, because when there is a problem with the phone, they don’t have a source to put in a service call.  When you put in a service call they do not give you a timeline when the technician will come out and most of the times he ends up coming later than what you expect.  The technician who comes out is so unsatisfied with ATT and it shows on his work.  My phone line was dead and it took 3 guys to fix it, where the 3rd person was a manager and seemed extremely apologetic.  I will continue to use them because in case of hurricanes only the landline works, where the mobiles die away.

They are too big of a company and they don't communicate properly between departments.  It is totally disfunctional.  I wish someone would have warned me.
