STAY AWAY!!!! STAY AWAY!!!! I have experienced the worst customer service from Atlantic Windows and Shutters in Miami. After spending over $40,000 +/- in windows and doors. I received 8 windows and 2 doors that were measured incorrectly by Atlantic Window. My windows were measured by a AW representive. I later found out that they only send their installers to measure if I use the company installers. The reason why I did not use AW installer was after getting several quotes AW was charging me double than the going rate for window installation. If I would have been told this from the beginning, I would have reconsidered using Atlantic Windows. After several weeks of calling and leaving messages and being totally ignored my gut told me this was not good sign. Finally, the rep from AW told me they would take care of there mistake. Nothing happened. Called back numerous times and was told the AW rep was no longer with the company. Then one day the owner Al-Jamal Fahad and his assistant shows up at my house around 6:30pm (without calling) I showed him all the mistakes and I explained the additional cost I had to pay to make the windows fit. But I had a door that the cost was way too much to make fit. Mr Fahad (the owner) told that they would take care of the door. "That he would help me" NOTHING happened I would call the store leave messages and nothing. I personally went to the store and of course Mr Fahad was not available. The manager had my file and I was told he was just waiting for Mr Fahads approval. After several weeks I received a call from the manager and he told me Mr. Fahad said NO that they were not responsible. It was my problem. I am a very active in my community and a Realtor I will NEVER give them another referral.

Reliable and price competitive. Windows placed CGI, very pleased with quality of Windows and doors. Did the whole house. Workmanship was sensational, little stress cause the professional installers, Omar and JC, were true gentlemen and kind in helping where I couldn’t move furnitures. As a single mom I have nobody to depend on and for them to not complain about anything dealing with moving made it pleasurable. Past permit inspection and insurance inspection. I highly recommend this company. Great materials and workmanship which in my opinion goes hand in hand. I insisted they place a sign on my property advertising the company. We recently had impact resistant windows and doors installed in our home by Atlantic Windows/Shutters. In view of the considerable financial investment, we did our "homework" on available vendors to do the job. We chose Atlantic and we're very satisfied with our decision, from beginning to end. Kyle, the sales manager, was easy to work with, knowledgeable (when unsure of an answer, he would consult his resources and provide an educated response.) We found him to be honest and reliable. The company is under new management and there is a sincere effort to provide quality service and a quality product. Thank you to Barbara, the company manager, and Digna, their receptionist. The two gentlemen who installed our windows deserve special recognition - Omar and Alfredo. We couldn't have asked for better! They were highly professional, punctual, always approachable and responsive in their interactions with us. They left their work areas neat and as clean as possible. I think what we appreciated most is the quality of their work. There was obvious pride in their work, and the final product was awesome. We feel very safe and comfortable with our new windows and doors. My husband and I feel very confident in recommending Atlantic Windows and Shutters to others. Thank you to each of them for a job well done!

Beware. Once you sign contract, don't expect any customer service. Have been waiting for over 6 months to get my PGT french door glass replaced. The glass is discoloring. Twice the excuse is PGT sent the wrong glass.This last time Barbara, their receptionist confirmed glass had arrived and waited all day, to later learn glass was not there.Gordon, the manager will never respond to your calls. Very unprofessional business. The owner lives in Europe and I am in the process of trying to contact him to see if he can assist.

Atlantic was very responsive when I contacted them to see if they could repair some of the hurricane accordion shutters at my new place.  They immediately sent someone out who provided a free estimate which was very reasonable.  Once I decided to go with them, they sent a team out to do the job.  They reconditioned the shutters which were unsecured, off track and/or just not sliding.  They lubricated all the shutters at the house, including some which were not on their list to repair.  They also provided me with instructions on how to maintain the shutters in optimal working condition.  I would definitely use them again in the future, if necessary.

Work was most professional. Performed on time and exactly for the quoted price. The work was flawless. The coat was most reasonable. Permits and everything was well handled. The company we not out of t heir way to make sure I was pleased. Most highly recommenend as this company knows what they are doing.

I like the fact that they were very formal in their quote process. They were very reasonable with their pricing but I've had issues with them during the installation. They've been sloppy and very messy. They are not taking care of the property as they should. They should be putting plastic down and paper down so that they don't cross through my house on my white floors with work poops and mud. They are very sloppy but they are doing the job. When we pay good money they need to understand that they are working in a house that is occupied so they need to be more careful when it comes to tidiness and cleanliness. I haven't passed the inspection yet so I don't know yet a hundred percent because I would have to pass inspection to make sure the windows are being installed properly. The county will come out and do that. The price was very good. The quality of the product is very good. I'm not sure if I would use them again. I'm really waiting for them to finish and see the final product.

I had an excellent experience! After receiving quotes from approximately 7 companies I decided on Atlantic Window and Shutters because my sales person Gloria made me feel very confident that these windows would arrive within 3 weeks. I was skeptical as all the other companies said anywhere between 5 - 10 weeks. Their pricing was the best I received for the exact same PGT windows from all 7 companies. I ordered them on a Monday as they do their ordering on Tuesdays. After they placed their order with PGT I was given the date of September 10th, 2013 as the target delivery. On September 5th they called me to make sure I would be home so they could do the installation that upcoming Tuesday, September 10th. I was shocked. They were installed on September 10th by their company employed team with great care. The installers were neat, clean and professional. The Miami Dade inspector came a week ago for the inspection and signed off with absolutely no issues. I highly recommend Atlantic Windows and Shutters and my sales person Gloria. I was surprised to see that there would be even one negative review of this company on Angies List.

Pascal Gordon and the staff at Atlantic Windows and Shutters were great to work with on both occasions.
First, I needed to upgrade the storm panels to code on one additional exterior door to get a price break on my homeowner's insurance.  Since it was such a small job, I wanted to do it myself, and they were very helpful in showing me the choices of brackets and how to effectively fasten them with my low overhang.  They supplied me fasteners as well, which I didn't expect, and that allowed me to take back some unopened fasteners I had already purchased at Home Depot, which only sold the need materials in much longer lengths than I needed.  They cut the materials while I waited, and helped me load them in my car.  Everything went smoothly because of their advice.
Later, on 10/11/2012, since I had such a good experience with them regarding the storm panels, I called them following a break-in:
They sent out a technician within an hour after I called, and he assessed the situation and gave me an estimate lower than I had expected.
The technician removed the glass and the door frame and took them with him back to the shop, and within another hour, he was back and the door was installed.   I was completely satisfied, and wouldn't hesitate to use their services again for either shutters or window repair .

In 1999 Atlantic Windows and Shutters installed all the windows in my new house without any problems.
More recently I received bad news from Citizens Property Insurance Corporation after their inspection of my property. My premiumwould be increased by $1628.00 annually unless I changed a door and install new and more expensive shutters which were costly.

I brought the report to Atlantic Windows and Shutters and had them look it over. The following day they were at my house with all the materials needed. They were very friendly and professional.
I was ecstatic that I did not have to buy a new door or install the expensive shutters. I forwarded the work done with pictures of the job to Citizens Insurance and the increase in premium has been cancelled.
They have indeed come through for me.

My husband and I were extremely pleased without the entire experience with Atlantic Windows and Shutters. From the start, the experience of working with them during the bid estimating process put them above other bidders. I was home for a good portion of the installation and was impressed with the skill of Carlos and Luis making sure of the wuality of their installation.

They finished the job in 2 days and told me the inspection was done and passed by City of Coral Gables. After couple months gone by, we found out that we had a lien on the property due to we still owe them money. We were shocked because we paid Atlantic the day they finished the job. I had to take the receipt and go the the store and ask the lady Maria to fix the problem. Then, almost 3 years later, last month I got a letter from City of Coral Gables, it noted that the window inspection had already pass due. I had to reapply a new permit to have inspection again! I took all the paper works and went to the store and tried to find out what happened. I explained to the manager that I paid them to pull permit and should be their responsibility to close it for me. Their staff told me the inspection was done back then. He checked on his computer and told me they could reopen the permit and close for me only if I pay again! After that, I went to City of Coral Gables and explained the situation ( I wondered why they can't send me the notice before the permit was expired so that I could close the permit before all the hussle). Of course the answer was I had to pay for reopen permit as owner as contractor to have inspection again.I found out Atlantic used Bricks and Stones, INC. as the contractor to pull permit, I called and wanted to find out if this company could do something, the owner's wife called me back after 3 weeks and told me the owner Mr. Garzon had passed away last year. I don't understand why this company is still up on running and can't finish the job that they did not finish 3 years ago!

Took months longer than what they had stated. Unresponsive and disorganized office help. I had picked them because of positive reviews back in April 2006 on this list, but a very disappointing experience. Very average work, though measured three times, shutters had problems with the sizes.

Very frustrating and disappointing. I will never use this company again. They obtained my business with a false promise of 4-6 week delivery, and it took over 20 weeks to get delivery and complete installation. I had to call continuously to find out the status of my order; they blamed problems on the manufacturer. They never once called me with an update. When the shutters finally came in, I only found out because I called them. Then, it took over a month to get them delivered, and only then because I finally called them to ask when they would install the shutters. The first window accordions were the wrong size. The installation was poor quality, one of the panels is bent and many of them are scratched. I never knew when the installers would show up. Some of the work is still shoddy. The shutters failed inspection the first time. I refused to pay what I owed until they passed inspection. Somehow, they finally passed, but I am not satisfied with the work they did.

The project was delayed by four months from the promised date which was received in writing by them. In addition to having the work done late, it was done with poor workmanship. It took an additional month to repair the poor installation. I had to stop a payment and was financially penalized for this. When communicating with them a Ms. Kim from accounts receivable hung up on me while explaining my situation. Their installers are subcontracted and thus the company has no control of their workers quality. With hind sight my biggest mistake of mine was to contract this company. I should have signed up with a better known company such as Rolladen.

They did the work, but it took them three months to complete what they told me would take three weeks. They are very disorganized; they lost a window, and once they left me on hold for about 45 minutes because they couldn't find my file. They made appointments that they did not keep several times throughout the process. It was a very stressful and negative experience for me to deal with this company. Their professionalism was varied...they were very nice and polite, yet I found the office personnel to be somewhat disorganized and unprofessional.

they take forever to complete a job they said would take a few weeks (its been months). they often just don't show for work. they have shown up and said they don't have the proper equiment or manpower to complete the task and left. no responses to repeated phone calls.

Installation began on June 13, 2005. Today is August 2, 2006 and my windows and doors still have not passed inspection. The doors squeak every time you open them, some of the windows and doors leak when it rains. I am still trying to figure out how to gem them to fix the problems. We have already paid them everything with the exception of $2,900, so they have no interest in fixing any of the problems.

THIS COMPANY CAME OUT TO MY HOME AND MEASURED FOR ALL NEW HURRICANE WINDOWS AND DOORS. I HAVE A CHILD AND THEY WERE VERY POLITE AROUND HIM. THEY ARE DEFINITELY A GREAT COMPANY TO HAVE WORK FOR YOU.

THE EXPERIENCE WAS GOOD. THEY INSTALLED THE WINDOWS QUICKLY TO BEAT THE RAIN. THEY WORKED VERY EFFICIENTLY TOGETHER TO FINISH THE JOB. THEY CLEANED UP THE MESS THAT THEY MADE WHEN THEY WERE FINISHED.

THE OUTCOME OF THE WORK WAS BEAUTIFUL BUT THE AMOUNT OF TIME THAT IT TOOK THEM TO DO IT WAS TOO LONG. WE DID FINALLY GET A BEAUTIFUL OUTCOME BUT WE HAD TO HAVE LOTS OF PATIENCE.

THEY ARE A GOOD COMPANY. THEY KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING WHEN IT COMES TO INSTALLING WINDOWS. THE PRICE WAS FAIR AND THE JOB GOT DONE IN A TIMELY FASHION.

THE JOB ONLY TOOK THREE DAYS. THEY WERE AWARE OF MY FAMILY AT ALL TIMES WHEN WORKING. THEY DID NOT LEAVE DEBRIS DURING OR AFTER THE JOB WAS COMPLETED.
