DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE. If they make a mistake, they WILL NOT MAKE IT RIGHT. Despite the reviews, the inspectors do not follow the guidelines and are incompetent. Our inspector somehow missed exposed cloth electrical wiring in our home. And, he mis-represented the wiring in the home on the inspection report, which insurance acts on and trusts. When I created an incident report and submitted it to the company, their Field Manger, Johnny Rosales, came over to our home and either a) lied, or b) was equally as incompetent as the first inspector, saying that he didn't see cloth insulation. When I pressed him on this, he demurred and "found" cloth wiring, but had I not, he would have gotten away with it. The company only offered to basically give me my money back on the inspection (~$700) plus a small convenience fee ($500) to release all claims against them and their inspectors... The bill to rewire the house, all said and done, is an unexpected $40,000, not counting the time we've had to inconvenience ourselves and family while the house is being repaired. And, what about my family? What if these exposed, frayed, cloth wires had sparked and caught my house on fire? This one is real black and white. This company is a failure and the inspectors are incompetent, and they will put you, as an innocent home-buyer, in harm's way.

When I first called the Allied's office to schedule an appointment, the office staff was helpful and followed up with ongoing reminders of times and dates. Most importantly, the mold assessor Trace, was friendly, informative and made our family at ease during this stressful situation. Trace explained very thoroughly each step of the process and responded quickly with the lab results. Thanks again for making our life much easier during these times.

As a realtor, I recommend Allied to my buyers regularly and without hesitation. They are very thorough, professional, punctual, and consistent; every time. In nearly five years of recommending them, I have never had a bad experience. I always explain to buyers that the inspection report can return a long list of recommended repairs that a seller may not necessarily agree to fix. With that said, I believe it is better to know these issues up front than discover later. So, Allied helps my buyers make informed decisions, and I appreciate that.

Each inspection started getting more and more expensive.  I am a loyal customer and believed what they were telling me to be true.  They were referred to me by my then realtor who I finally fired for being neglectful in telling me information that would have made me a more informed buyer.  I found that each inspection found items which were not broken, in need of repair, some not even present on the property and completely incorrect.  I finally used a different Inspection company that reviewed the bills and told me that they were thieves and I was robbed.  I lost out on the first 3 houses I put offers in on, but disregarded the 4th inspection and purchased the home.  Additionally, the Owner or President John Micali is never there he seems to always be traveling and one of their key 1099 Inspectors Gil Doval always finds what he believes is wrong, but misses many things which would lower your Insurance bill.  After using Gil for all 4 inspections, he was even bold enough to state in front of seller and buyer realtors that I was sending his daughter to college with what I am paying for Inspections.  He claimed that a newly wired house with copper wiring had cloth wiring.  What was present was some loose cloth wiring that was not connected and was removed by hand by an electrician who also thought they were thieves. This created a temporary problem in getting insurance.  When this was brought to Allied's and Gil's attention the response was they never thought this would create a problem. Inspection companies know what creates and does not create problems for Insurance Companies.  I asked for an amended statement on the report, which there is a place for and was told that this could not be done.  I was asked if I wanted to do another inspection after just paying $4600 for 4 inspections.  Stay away from these people and this company, find anyone else, but DO NOT USE ALLIED INSPECTION.

Terrible.  We called them the very same day our offer was accepted and told them we had a 12 day inspection period.  They said they could not go until day 9 of that period, but that they assured us we would get the report the next day by 6 pm.  They also asked us if we wanted to add a mold inspection for an additional $570, and we said yes.   The day of hte inspection the inspector said they would have the report that night, but nothing came. Instead, the inspector called us and also said that the mold report would not be ready until the following Monday -- days after our inspection period expired -- and that if we wanted it sooner we needed to pay an expedited fee.  When we told him we had been promised the report the next day, he said to talk to the office and not him.  The next day we called the office and they said they assured us that we would get our inspection report that same day by 6 pm but not the mold report. They said to fix their mistake they would provide us an oral report and then follow up with a written confirmation. We had no choice but to agree.  6 pm came and went and we did not get anything, other than an email at close to 5 pm with an invoice for their services.  We called the office and it was closed, so we had to wait until the next morning-- giving us only 1 day in our inspection period.   When we called the next mornign, they said we had to pay the invoice over the phone or they would not give us the report -- we had only had the invoice since about 5 pm the day before.   In sum, they over-promised and were terrible at communicating with us.  We ended up in a very adversarial relationship with them despite us being the ones who hired them and paid them.  They made the entire process very stressful.  We would not use them again nor recommend them to anyone.

Allied performed a home inspection, prior to us purchasing our first home. Every one were true professionals, from the secretary that takes down appointments to the actual inspector that came down to the home. They did a thorough job and took the time to explain in detail all the issues found in the home. I was able to renegotiate the selling price based on the detailed and documented information they provided on the report. This was a great value to me, and I would highly recommend their services.
