Apparently it appears that their employee didn't report to them that they were fixing our air conditioner in our unit and took the money. So instead of Aircool Mechanical System Inc trying to make things right, they are making this our problem. So we have dealt with this all day and not had any air in the heat here in Miami.
"We did a service call - cust need a new compressor so technician wrote an estimate for the job. Customer said he would check around with other companies and let us know. Sinse he dindn't call back, we figured he had gone with another company. The next day, customer called back angry that the compressor was loud and system still not cooling. We had no invoice for the job so we asked for add information to confirm that our company had done the work. Customer said that he wrote a check payble to the employee for $600 less than the Aircool quote. It is surprising that a customer with contracting experience would do that. It implies the employee installed the compressor as a side job-effectively undercutting his employer-not a good situation. Aircool is more than willing to make good on the job. Aircool needs to see an invoice or a cancelled check signed by the employee as proof that the work was done by its employee. It is a serious accusation and needs to be addressed if true. Aircool has been trying to contact the customer but the customer does not answer our calls. We will provide an update in the near future."
"We apologized for the delay on this job. Customery the replacement of an AC unit varies with conditions surrounding it. Attic installation take longer. Once the original equipment was removed, we found other components in the system that required attention such as rebuilding ductwork plenums, correct size of auxiliary drain pan, and others in wich we alerted the customer. - We had ordered the right equipment but the supplyer sent the wrong one. Once the equipment was ready to start, we find the new equipment had a bad circuit board. So we retun to the supplyer for the new board. By this time the customer is upset. However we did completed the job and the system is in good order."
