Abell & Turrentine Electrical Contractors

Charlie Abell added a new 60 amp circuit for a tankless water heater and wired up the water heater for us this past year. Here's the good: Charlie and his team showed up right on time as scheduled. The work got done in a reasonably professional manner. They were clean and neat. The cost was reasonable. Here's the bad: 8 months later when the system went down, Charlie did not choose to come back and trouble shoot the problem. Admittedly, I told him I thought the problem was in the water heater itself. He replied he wasn't interested in trouble-shooting that device. (This surprised me given the large $ investment we had made with Abell). But it turns out that problem was the cheap GE circuit breaker that Abell had installed. The electrician who agreed to come solve the problem (and another knowledgeable friend) said that these cheap GE circuit breakers are known problems. Bottom line: I had to pay for another electrician to install a reputable and reliable circuit breaker. I'm not impressed by cheap electrical supplies that last a few months and by the electricians who install them. This has cost me time and money.
