Joe came out and said yes, should be replaced. Called later to tell me what day they'd come. I arrived to see someone working in garage who was unable to speak English so had no idea how it was going. A little later I realized it was very quiet so looked in garage and installer had left with one of my very long extension cords draped over the ceiling and into the wall. I called Joe and he said 'oh, we have a problem, since you don't have an outlet in the ceiling of garage.' I told him he should have noticed it when he was here as he said old unit over 20 years old. He got indignant and said he's not an electrician. Then he said he could fix the extension cord so I wouldn't see it! I told him that was unacceptable and asked if I needed to get an electrician in. He said he'd come next day (Saturday) to look at it. He called next day and said was coming on Monday instead and would see about fixing up a female 'plug'. I asked again if I needed to get an electrician over there and he got very hostile, yelling, "Hello, I'm trying to explain it to you! And let me know if I'm wasting my time! " He said all systems are plugged in and not wired in. I told him the handbook he left showed that the system could be wired in and not just plugged n. I told him if he could fix it without looking like an extension cord in the ceiling and burning down the house, that's fine. He did come over on Monday and put in a 'female' plug for the system. He never once uttered an apology for the mistakes and his customer service skills were not in evidence. A little bit of service 'recovery' would have gone a long way as we can all make mistakes, but his approach was to raise the volume of his voice in hopes of drowning mine out.

He came early and completed the work quickly doing more than I asked for.

They were great. I was highly satisfied and they did good work. I was happy about everything that they did. I got them off of Angie's List.

Just one person came out to do the work. They did it quickly and it was everything I expected. I asked for an estimate in the evening and in the morning they had already contacted me, and had already scheduled and did the work the same day. It was very fast and efficient. The estimate was over the phone, they came out the same day to do the work, and everything went well.

They did a good job. Their cost was on the bottom end of the range, it was very fair. I added some extra installation and their wasn't a big up charge.  I liked that.  There was an error on a installers part and they fixed it right away.  I told them I found them on Angie's List and he applied a discount without me having to even ask. They got back to me.  They were very prompt and got back to me.  They came to look at the job when they said they would. I would recommend them.

Perfect. Used Angies list to message company in the evening and first thing in the morning the owner (Joe) called me provided estimate over the phone and sent (Mike) the installer at 10:30 AM that very day and dd the job. Service was perfect. This was my second experience with A Quality Garage Doors. Bothe experiences were fantastic.

It could hardly have gone better. I was convinced that I would have to buy a new opener, my current one being quite old and not working. In fact, I collected many ratings and prices of new openers. And I thought that the spring might have to be replaced, as well. But when Mike arrived to give me an estimate, he said, 'Well, let me take a look at this." And within a half hour, he had repaired the opener.

Very responsive. Fairly priced. Good Workmanship. Friendly service from the main office and from Mike who did the repair. Would definitely use them again.

Garage door opener, rollers, alignment all checked and servived, as needed.

It went excellent.  We are very happy with their service and honesty.  We followed their recommendation and the door works fine now.

From the start when I called Joe Gonzalez was responsive and immediately scheduled Mike to come out and see what the problem was. Once he identified what we needed, Joe scheduled Mike to come out with everything we needed. I promised a time of arrival and Mike arrived at exactly that time. 
Mike was professional and very knowledgeable of the product. I would highly recommend A Quality to anyone.
Great customer service from start to finish.

sI talked with Joe to set up the appointment.  He somehow got my address wrong, which caused the technician to drive around town and be late.  Joe blamed me for giving him the wrong address.  I think the problem was Joe's phone being unclear and in and out when I spoke with him.
The technician, Mike, was superb!   I showed him the closed door from outside the house, noting it was not level when closed, slightly higher on the right side than the left.   When we tried to open the door, it made a nasty noise but did not open.  From this, without even looking at the garage opener mechanism inside the garage, Mike diagnosed the problem -  the cable and the coupler needed to be replaced.  As he worked on the door, he found prior installation of the wrong parts, such as bolts,  and he fixed these, too.  It seemed to sincerely bother Mike that things weren't done right in the past and he obviously prided himself in doing things right.  When he was finished, the door opened more smoothly and quietly than ever before, was totally level, and the hurricane safety latch , from the door to the track attached to the wall,  worked perfectly for the first time.    The last person who had worked on the door couldn't fix the level problem or the latch problem and simply told me these didn'tt matter.   Can' say enough good things about Mike, his knowledge, and his work ethic.

Joe came by at the time he said he would, Was very professional and pleasant.

I over paid him by $50 in error (two $50 bills were stuck together)  and he was honest and gave back the overpayment.

Joe and Mike and their team did a great job, which included accommodating me regarding cutting back the lip of my concrete garage floor in order to fit the new impact-resistant garage door.  The new door was thicker than my old door, and this thickness difference caused the need for the concrete to be cut back.  After speaking with Joe, he agreed to include this work in the existing price.  He was fair and reasonable in making sure that I received a properly functioning, fully-installed door.  The door looks great and will assist me with receiving a wind-mitigation credit with my homeowner's insurer.

Extremely professional and polite. The owner JOE saved me a lot of money from a previous botched job . Mike ( tech) that was sent was very thorough and knowledgable. You could tell they knew what they were DOING! Don't use anyone else.....They are the BEST!

Technician came on time.  He had the company logo on his shirt.  He had all the tools that he needed with him.

Great customer service, arrival next day to install. the techs took 2.5 hours and they did a great job. someone even followed up to make sure we were happy, then showed me how to properlu maintain the garage. The price was the lowest in Miami and I received the Angie's list discount on top of that. I referred this company to my inspector, who said they did a great job.
